  1. As someone else posted, Skipp (the whole team look well uncooked fitness wise). I’d like to see how a fit Skipp looks. He does have an interesting running technique but before we signed him, I thought he was a robust CM that can get around the pitch. One of the many internal investigations needs to be our players fitness levels. We looked unfit under Cooper too, so safe to say an underlying issue.
  2. I won’t lie, I had to stop reading this after you tried saying that Ayew/Reid were cheap in comparison to Abdul and Stephy, in a positive way. You completely ignored that we needed pace on both wings to have any slim chance of staying up. Enzo ball was boring as hell but when it clicked it was about his two explosive wingers taking their full backs on/getting into dangerous positions. Ayew and Reid were both heinous signings for what we needed but let’s bemoan that Fatawu cost more 🤯
  3. I can’t see that. He hardly a line up of suitors when available on a free last summer.
  4. Great pod again. The shift from apathy to anger at the club was music to my ears as started to worry that I had an unhealthy disdain for how we’re being run. I know this season has been more apathy than anger but the Vardy era ending has shifted that IMO.
  5. Don’t you worry, Top will come out and say that some people have said some mean things on social media to him 🙄
  6. You actually have to laugh but it’s so true. You missed a pointless loan to some Italian club with them having no interest in taking the option of buying him.
  7. Which would take forward planning and I genuinely can’t believe that our board has done that. More like a panic signing as JJ was getting pelters and clearly his form had reached a new rock bottom. If it was for the Championship season, would that entail that one of JJ or Ricky are expected to leave this window?
  8. Reckon it is agree to disagree. Having played as a CM and CB, I can see what you’re talking about but you make it sound like a player like Coady or Mads who can see it all happening in front of them doesn’t/can’t talk to Wout. Coady needs to move him on to Cunha when he spots that he hasn’t been picked up by lazy Bouba. To be fair, I guess that I’m actually as annoyed at Coady too.
  9. All good points but Coady/Mads who can see it pan out in front of them…need to move Faes on (edge of the 6 yard box) as on that still….he’s neither picking up Cunha or making the pass harder by cutting down the angle. Soumare and Ndidi as you say were/have been hideous all season too yet not had the same level of disdain on here. I just think if you go on Wout’s agents comments about “his amazing anticipation” then he has to be much less passive in that position.
  10. You do realise that Alves is 19 right? Barnes and Chilwell at the same age were at loan at MK Dons and Huddersfield. Sorry that we get excited about Alves in the squad on a match day ahead of dross like Reid or Ayew.
  11. Completely agree. Makes you wonder what they do in training. Soumare as a DM though doesn’t help and Ndidi is a shell of his former self.
  12. Look at his positioning for the first goal. He’s marking absolutely no one. Also, Coady and his “leadership ability” can do one…he can see everything in front of him yet is on his heels and not commanding at all.
  13. Don’t worry….we can keep rolling out such turgid football but Ruud should stay on, according to some on here. I actually hate Ruud and his utter lack of an ounce of management ability.
  14. Ruud caught in the act motivating his players on the sidelines 🙈
  15. Ruud starting Reid, Faes and Bouba today, after relegation has been confirmed is another big red mark against him. Reid offers zero threat. Faes and Bouba allegedly come out stating they don’t want to be here next season 🤮
  16. They also brought in Brendan, who was great before he lost interest (albeit it our slump started when he was given too much influence) and Enzo. Sorry but the “careful what you wish for” with Ruud is a pretty weak case for him to stay for me. I’m with you though, that in an ideal world, Top sells up and the whole board is overhauled but we all know that it’s quite unlikely.
  17. Playing Devil’s advocate, is there a PL or Championship manager who has a back room staff of one? The alarm bells of him not bringing a back room with him, on top of his dreadful records make me think that any respectable coach/manager is a better bet than Ruud.
  18. I really wouldn’t want Martin but your point about anyone but Ruud is the answer for me. Yes, the board needs addressing but pretty sure that Top/Rudkin doesn’t make Ruud ignore Stephy for months, drop Okoli after a good game and a first goal for Faes. Ruud has been statistically one of the worst PL managers in history, how can anyone think him staying on is a good idea.
  19. Extremely limited player talking like he’s a regular = Coady. Can’t wait for all the overpaid leeches to leave. It’s just the worry that they’ll be replaced by like for like. More Mads, Abdul signings please. I can’t think of a “proven” PL signing that has worked since Evans and before that Huth.
  20. Also, a rare Winks sighting.
  21. Agreed! A great listen and loved the more in depth focus on what Jonathan had to say. My only minor gripe was the reference to the feedback on here about Guy’s KPFC PR spin last week. I said it last week and will re-iterate that on paper he was a great guest (amazing insight) but his apparent disdain for our academy players, “little Leicester just accept it” comments were what wound me up, not that he had a different opinion to me. I completely disagree with Jordan and Jake about Ruud staying on but appreciate their differing views.
  22. As a PL club, wouldn’t we have had to extend his contract for that to happen. Does anyone know the EFL rules about this?
  23. A great reply to be fair. Whilst I agree with most and understand the sentiment of where mine (all LCFC) fans anger should be aimed at. My only issue is that PSR has been in play for a few years now and we’ve shown zero signs of pivoting to comply to the rules. Without bleating on, re-signing Jannik, signing Reid, Ayew, Winks and Coady all on above PL average wages highlights this. Hence the anger directed at Rudkin/Top.
  24. Agree with what you’re saying but those clubs also don’t do bonkers business like us. Imagine offering Jannik a new contract, when proven for 2/3 of his time here that he’s not up to the standard (in the league we’re aspiring to be at) until he’s 35. Edouard is another example of business those clubs just don’t do as they have an actual business model/transfer strategy, rather than just panic buying.
  25. How can people hide behind the “careful what you wish for” stance when discussing our awfully run club. We’re breaking all sorts of unwanted records, on course to face some type of PSR penalty once the EFL can touch us, yet we carry on as normal. Any other business run in such a poor manner, wouldn’t last a financial year.
