Miller would be great, but surely they'll want £10mill for him alone.
-
He's posted decent enough numbers and is the right age. He was wank in the playoffs though! But you can't buy proven talent at this level without spaffing your entire budget (do we have one) so you need to take gambles on players like him stepping up a level. If we're not loaning a striker, then this is a good speculative option.
-
I don't think we subsidise any of his wage to offload him to Wrexham. If they aren't willing to offer him what he's on now, tough shit. Given he's obviously looking to get into media work, Wrexham makes perfect sense for him in every aspect off the pitch. It can open doors long term. I don't think you'd miss the opportunity trying to force our hand into paying him off. He'll want the move, so he'll have to make that sacrifice. It's for his own benefit.
-
You reckon they should do some gym work? Bulk up a bit?
-
Well someones got to be...
-
That'll rule him out then. Premier League loan. Would probably expect to be first choice given their options. It's no risk and they can put off the striker hunt until next season when they know where they stand.
-
He'd fancy that you'd think. Bogle and Schmidt as competition ain't it?
-
PSR will save them. Just wait....
-
I know we're slow as fxxk on things this summer, and it might be that I'm not paying much attention to anyone else, but is there much movement going on everywhere else in the market compared to previous years? Or is the PSR tightrope killing off the transfer windows for more clubs than just us?

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

Ok, but I wasn't thinking we'd sell to a champ side. -
But for free, someone will take him on. Whoever doesn't get their primary targets and settles.
-
A Premier League side will pick him up.

I'd be surprised if anyone offered double digits for Stephy. -

What is to good to turn down do we think? -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

A bidding war doesn't really happen in the conventional sense of bidding something up to buy. But when there's multiple interested parties the selling/holding club can refuse higher offers due to supply/demand. But once an offer is accepted that's pretty much it. The other clubs don't then throw in another 5 or 10mill and bid up. They match the offer to the club and try to better the offer to the player. It's just semantics really. Effectively there's no bidding war but the price is expected to escalate due to supply/demand. -

So you reckon we'll finish above Saints?!
-
Ricardo's one was his agent saying that he is open to/looking for a new challenge. Usual spiel.
-
I actually think the high fullback role would suit him, but he might not get a go at it.
-
Not really. He's spent a single season on better money, under no real pressure, won some silverware and now he'll likely move to an established Premier League side. If he'd stayed with us he'd have spent the last season getting the same shit as everyone else and be currently staring down a season back in the championship.
-
The only way Hamza should be first choice anything is if we are lucky enough to have a mass exodus of players we want out the door. Silver linings.
-
I'd be a little surprised if Newcastle were in for him though. I know they're in the market for a keeper, but that's largely because Pope can never stay fit, so given Mads record last year you'd think they might be wary.
-
It's not buyback per se, Man City have a clause that they get priority if they match any fee offered, and that's what Newcastle offered.

£27m

You can sigh but I didn't say he should be in that list. As you stated.
