Played the opening 2 games of the season. Our only hope was for him to get a move to a league which doesn't run concurrently with ours. So an MLS move for example, as we'd got a whiff of hope on, but he didn't want it apparently.

He can't just get a move to anywhere else, he's played for 2 clubs. His options are extremely limited.

So is that loan space then free or is the term register in this instance nothing to do with squad registration and there's a separate loan register?

I find the wording of that a little ambiguous. It means you can have 4 premier league loans in a season. But only 2 registered at a time. But I'm unsure if that's squad registered or there's a loan register. As that'd mean two different potential outcomes. Squad reg would mean we could get someone in to replace French Ed and not register him in the squad. If there's a loan register then yeah, fxxked it. Anyone know?
