And the one before that literally was Ayew.

Daka. This season.
-
There's levels to this.
-
"And the son of Patrick, has a hat-trick." He's been gagging to get that out since his second.
-
You see I thought that and remember Faes moaning a bit about being on the left, but had a look on Transfermarkt match reports to confirm it and they've got him as the right sided CB in all but those games I mentioned. Hence the ?

Iraola is a funny watch.
-
No evidence for this but I think RvN hasn't got him in because he's probably not much of a communicator. The only one in our back 4 that is is Coady. And then Vesty and Faes already had a partnership from last season. Ruud probably values a talker more.

Getting battered and 1 down.

Bournemouth wearing t-shirts for Unal. Bit OTT ain't it? I'm definitely missing something, he's just injured isn't he?
-
That'd be 29 weeks. Fxxking part timers!
-
I like the fact that if you google him the main picture is of Zinchenko. And on that basis he's a must buy.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I like your style. -
Capology has him at 25k a week. Salary sport at 44k a week. Capology also states £1,300,000 per season. Spotrac states $1,300,000 per season. There's a discrepancy in that alone. About £240,000 difference. So they're all bollocks but suit whichever side of an argument you're on.

Fxxk and No. Nothing against Kel. But the idea of paying for someone we let go for nothing 6 months ago for nowt would be a step too far. Regardless of his ability/lack thereof. Not even a loan.
-
And here was me trying to cast a ray of sunlight on the huge pile of crap we see festering before us and you've just gone and closed the curtains, leaving us in the dark, smelling of shit.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I like that Ruud has come in and has a clear structure and plan for the way he wants us to play. I'm not convinced that structure is optimal. I'm less convinced it's optimal for the players we have and their levels. For me this system requires our fullback to arguably be the best player in your team. They play as an RB when defending and basically transition into an RW with the ball, with the "on paper" RW moving inside as a midfield player. So that requires a level of ability at both ends of the park. You need a good (great) engine, you need pace, and you need the ability to be effective at both ends of the pitch. You either need to be able to beat a man or put in a good ball. Consistently. I think there's a massive expectation on the fullback in this system. Others may disagree. In Enzos system both fullbacks made different transitions. One to LCB one to DM/CM. Far easier to do, with a lot less expectation on those players. When the ball is turned over it's also far easier to cover and change. Maybe Woyo is in to replace JJ, or maybe he's in to sub in for when JJ will inevitably be blowing out of his arse. But if this is how he wants to play I prefer this to whatever the fxxk Cooper was serving up. His "style" seemed to disappear about 3 games into preseason and ended up being sit back and hope to get lucky. Which we did a few times tbf, but it's a depressing watch and unsustainable. -
Still got 2 weeks fella!
-
No? He's played the right of the CB's as Coady does in all but the game vs Chelsea and the back 3 vs Brentford.
-
He's literally injured right now. Listed as calf problems.
-
I don't see Coadys ball playing being much better at all, and the stats don't back that up either. It's marginal. It's not marginal defensively though, he's much better in that aspect than the ancient scouser.
-
Nuamah doesn't exactly help them score goals though does he?
-
Got a measly 6 minutes in tonights game, already won. Of the ones that we missed out in the summer the one we could have had but opted not to is the miss for me. Wish we'd have got Yunus.
-
Ranieri has stated he's the future of Roma and blocked any loan move. So maybe not.
-
Take a look at how everybody felt in the Moder thread from the summer and tell me anybody would have been happy getting him for £5mill.
-
Great signing.... ...once he's loaned to Bristol, they make a playoff charge, get promoted and they buy him off us for £6mill...
