I think I have gathered your name from the call in to talk sport was it recently? If so, I see your comments on these posts when I scan through and I commend your commitment to the cause my friend đ In most cases though, these people are too far gone.

Set up to fail from the start. Confidence beyond repair. If the ability to finish exists, it will of course fluctuate between levels and players will find their level. But to go from banging them in in a reasonable European league, and in Europe, outperforming Erling Harland in the same league I think, to barely being able to stay on his feel and being unable to even bring the ball under controlâŠ. For me thatâs not physical or technical. Heâs head has completely gone in a way I have rarely seen.

I really do believe, we could be in the exact same position as Wednesday, and had a full boycott called for, I bet you would always get a good 10k who would go against that. Wednesday might have had a few 100 but it was a near enough full boycott. I just put it down to more northern people being more passionate. As @Spanner73put it earlier, Sheffield industry was steel. Leicester was woolly jumpers. Very appropriate

Yeah I get you. I think itâs about protesting in a way that will get most people on board. When things are done in certain ways, it wonât attract some who otherwise back the sentiment. This is about uniting the fanbase as much as possible. I also donât think people need to stop attending. The problem is that many who attend arenât doing anything or in most cases, actively working against those trying to raise concerns.

The fan base is very divided but deep down I feel most are probably on the same page with some extremes both ends. I think we need a way of pushing back that satisfies all though who want to see change. People such as yourself are resenting the suggestion you donât go. That results in you making digs back at people who have chosen not to give the club their money. Ultimately, we are all fed up and want these lot out the club. What would be your chosen method of voicing displeasure?

And sadly, I didnât a single stat to tell me that. It is plainly obvious before you even look at that side of things.

It wonât happen. Changing both CBâs and having an entire new partnership? And both are pretty slow. New signing who can defend, lead and has some pace about them is needed.

This is why I thought it made sense if wages were reduced as we donât need a fee at all but if it was wages another club would take on, we could get a small fee that is still better than nothing. But yeah, seems that is not the case so he will be stuck around for years to come.

Good analogy! Northern cities tend to be more no nonsense and take more pride in their football teams as well.

I know I said the rotten from Top to bottom but it does seem people donât think that is direct enough. The one that has the most votes in your screenshot is fine but your tweaked version with Aiyawatt rather than Top is good. Top is an affectionate nickname and we shouldnât use it.

Agreed with all. I simply donât think the people of Leicester have it in them to take a stand and fight back like the people of Sheffield have. Too soft.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
LCFCJohn replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I do like the idea of a rebuild under those who learned their trade from Pearson. Iâd definitely take Wellens with King as assistant. Others like Bruno Berner have a number of years of coaching and management also. As in coach not manager. But it would probably need Nigel involved somewhere and I donât see Aiyawatt/Rudkin allowing anything that will further expose them. -

Is it Wellens time yet? -
Paralysis by analysis. What a great way to put it. A simple game over complicated by those without a clue.

No pace there though. Vestergaard has been responsible for a few goals against us as well. If heâs been one of our best, fold the club now!
-
Edouard by the way, 3 in 6 in the French top division for Lens so far. 330 minutes so a goal every 110. One where he wasnât the problem but indicative of the toxic club that we are?

I was hopeful that the names mentioned above, Winks, Soumare, Daka, Ayew etc will all leave next summer. However @funkyrobothas kindly ruined this illusion by educating me to the fact we did in fact give Thomas a pay rise to go with the 3 additional years. So it wasnât even to lower his wages for a sale. Add that to the fact we voluntarily kept Vestergaard for 3 more years when he was due to leave that summer, we know these lot will all be offered new deals. We are then reliant on as many of them as possible to have some professional pride and want to move on.

Blackburn (H) Sat 1 Nov @12:30, pre-match
LCFCJohn replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not winnable in our current state. 1-1 draw again. No point suggesting some of the line ups above. Nelson, Aluko, Evans, Page will be nowhere near the side. -
I agree we are rotten. In terms of the business, what we did do was quite good but just far too little. James and Ramsey are good additions. Carranza looks poor though. We got some decent transfer fees for players on the fringes or with little time on contracts but again, not enough out given what we have been left with. I suppose the bar of a transfer window is that if we didnât fill the squad with more deadwood we will be unable to shift for years and managed to sell a player for a fee, itâs progress

Millwall 1-0 LCFC, post-match thread
LCFCJohn replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
It is time to reset our goals this is season to survival. Autos is laughably out of the question and itâs clear we donât have enough for the play offs either. A lot hinges on whether we get a deduction. If we do, it could be the difference between a low mid table finish that we probably will merit on the pitch, or relegation. -
In other words, the possession at all costs philosophy managers and clubs who go down that route. There were plenty of us who didnât enjoy âEnzoballâ as it is dull as hell and so hard to watch. We got piled on and criticised for being behind the times and this way is the only sustainable way. Bollocks is it. Football has moved on again and this method is getting us (and clubs like Southampton and Norwich) nowhere.
-
Completely unforgivable then. I had convinced myself, probably in hope, that often a longer deal is given for security for lower wages. And that lower wages would make a sale possible. A small profit would be seen as good business over him walking for free. But yeah, not going to happen. Sickening.

Great video . Amusing at the start, sticking the boot into Chancer. Then the meaningful, passionate side. Amazing how I am actually envious of Sheffield Wednesday right now. They are in administration and facing certain relegation yet have passion and a bright future now. They can connect to their club again and can see better days ahead. We are the opposite. No light at the end of the tunnel.
-
I have been thinking about this and I just donât see it ever happening. I agree with your lengthy post a page up. I have said similar about the route of Sheffield Wednesday. Those who scoff, donât seem to realise that this is how Wednesday started. It is only in the last year that things have really escalated into what we see now. But fast forward. Letâs say we end up stuck in this league, or go down to L1. And we end up in a dire situation that ultimately leads to staff not being paid, point deductions and not paying creditors, leaving us staring at administration. Even in that scenario, do you see our entire fanbase pulling together and protesting like Wednesday have done? I donât. There will be plenty saying Aiyawatt has the right to do what he wants because of what happened years ago.

Yeah you make a good point. I referred to having the resources to make his dad proud, resources that is regular mortals wouldnât have. But by having everything handed to him, he was never equipped. Which is why, going back to my point, I think a few more years would have made no difference.
