Who you want as our first signing: Richard Kone for striker problems or a low key signing like Brownhill on a free as he is a leader and captain and has a shit load of goals from midfield which we are missing. Who you think will be our first signing: Probably a weak minded right back from Spurs. A player we don’t need in a position we don’t need. Number of incomings: Probably about 3 as it’s otherwise too much work to do for Rudkin. In all seriousness, there will be a lot of work to do on outgoings so I can see incomings being slow. First sale: Maybe Soumare. Player you think will leave that you’re sad about: None. Maybe Bilal. Happy for Mads to go so I won’t be sad if he does.

Don’t, there are many who will rewrite history to just this if/when we fall further to justify defending them!
-
I don’t know if anyone (RVN aside) will go but it does feel different to last time. Last time they came straight out with the guff about a review and realised that most would buy it. Let’s be honest there wasn’t much or at all pressure on Top at that point. It was all directed towards Rodgers and a bit at Rudkin. This time the relegation is a really humiliating one, not just a shock to the outside world. The media are asking questions, there’s been the beginnings of discontent from sections of supporters. It does feel that they are realising they can’t just brush it under the carpet and fob everyone off this time. Whether it leads to anything meaningful I don’t know.
-
Probably league position, trajectory, financial state and fan engagement. Obviously new training ground is a material improvement and the academy is doing well. Whether that is negatively affected by the above things failing I don’t know.
-
Yeah we just have a disjointed squad and each new manager casts many of them aside as he doesn’t want them. Ultimately it comes from not having a vision at club level and operating without a Director of Football (I know we have one in name but not in practice). Its why we will continue to fall unless we strike absolute gold like with Pearson, who did the DoF job as well.

Your point makes perfect sense and I agree with the principle of it. But in reality, did he not have a really good time there and helped them to qualify for the Champions League, so you could argue he exceeded expectations. Or maybe he was an average cog in a well performing side, I don’t know as I didn’t watch first hand. But you can see why people would say they were being cheap given their success with him.
-
And this is why we are in a mess. Forget the quality of these two but why are they in the same sentence? And I agree with you by the way, but is again shows the complete lack of direction and strategic thinking.

I actually think him having got minutes and his first goals and assists as the level we will be at could be more beneficial. Also it’s a more physically demanding league so for a youngster needing to be physically ready for the senior game, it’s good experience. Also, despite them getting relegated, I can’t imagine the culture and environment are as toxic as ours, so I’m pleased he and Nelson have been away from that.

That’s not the owners way at Wrexham. They go for people who know what they are doing, not big names. They could have relieved Parkinson earlier if they were about that.
-
He is the one I want out more than any other individually. He has a longer contract, is so damaging in terms of ability and performances as well as his character and attitude. Others like Soumare would be gone next summer if not this but we need to move Faes asap! Then Vestergaard.

Any manager making 3 subs at half time is showing themselves as clueless through their initial line up. A tactical tweak yes, someone having a shocker, being proactive all might mean a change is made but 3 is just….yeah. Why pick that time in the first place?

The bright spark to come out of this season. Build the defence around him! -
Yes Wolves, a few more please. Give this lot and this line up from this joke of a manager the embarrassment they deserve!
-
When added up, that total suggested package by ChatGPT seems excessive if Wycombe stay down, given he has 1 year left on his contract.
-
The kid at Orient? More a number 10 isn’t he, plays behind Kelman? I had wondered about him as a no10 signing if we were likely to play that kind of system (as opposed to a 433).

The JAMIE VARDY STAND. Rename the Kop.

Terrible idea, would have to be the away end surely? -
Yeah, because it is not a substitute for the club being well run (as those who have a club realise is the case). It’s a nice extra, and when the fans feel appreciated anyway, it’s a nice touch. When the club has shown their contempt for supporters in other ways, through lack of communication and running the football operations into the ground, those with their heads screwed on can see straight through it being a cheap, meaningless gesture to keep the pressure off them. They are so lucky that we have the most passive and passionless fan base going, who they have warped into following them like lemmings off a cliff.
-
Actions speak loudest and his actions are of someone who has an affinity to the club. If it’s just about the place his dad passed it’s not a healthy reason to keep the club.

The KPFC lot like to re-write history. There were comments on one post referring to KP rescuing us from liquidation..erm what? We could get relegated to League 1 and there will be many who convince themselves that KP were there when we were in League 1 and single handedly got us back to the Championship. Hell, we could go down to League 2 and I think there is a number of them that would convince themselves that we have been in L2 before. And they are the type of people who would argue that the sky is green and the grass is blue so there is no telling them!
-
If Top/KP did sell, would that mean all the KPFC lovers would no longer be interested and take their hobby elsewhere?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
LCFCJohn replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
That one is directly on Maresca. He has every bit a bad eye for a player as everyone else since Puel but got away with it due to being at a lower level and getting a couple of gems to offset it. Winks, Coady, Vestergaard and Ndidi re-signed. He still played Faes which is criminal in itself. -
He will be available for a lowish fee with one year left, was very good in France, was decent for Sevilla and is of a good age still. Yes he has been awful for us but players can succeed at a new club after a bad time at their previous one and there will be teams in France or Spain who will be keen. Transfer fee won’t be the barrier but as always with us, wages will be. It sums up the state of modern football that that is the case. Players automatically think they are entitled to retain their earnings rather than take a reduction to move, particularly when they clearly want to.
-
How low do we have to fall and how tragic can we be before this phrase can get placed in the bin? Or more to the point, turn it round on the KP clappers!
-
When you get so many responses back quoting a post and hammering you, you really have had a mare
-
What we used to be could also refer to the culture of the club. Players who give their all, not paying people obscene amounts to take the piss out of the supporters and community. If you think people are pissed off because we aren’t winning the league or cup every other season, respectfully you need to get your head out your ass! The culture is rotten at the club. There is no plan, there is no identity. People doing what they want, no accountability. Financial issues due to incompetence. Can you seriously not see all this? Or is it all just ok to you? Or more likely, let me guess, none of this is the responsibility of the owner apparently?
