We were relegated on Saturday. We’ve heard absolutely nothing. Nothing about what the future plan is, what’s gone wrong, what they are planning to do, nothing at all. Southamptons owners to their credit, immediately came out with a statement with the first paragraph after announcing the sacking of Juric being … “With relegation to the Championship now confirmed, we believe it is important to give fans, players and staff some clarity on the future as we head into a very important summer” A far cry from this lot. Know why? They don’t think we deserve answers. We now know they didn’t give any to the Trust 2 years ago. This is a club where the people are the top hold our fanbase in utter contempt. I think there was a few things with the cooper thing. - He wasn’t just ex forest, he was absolutely revered by them and to come here when there is hatred our end toward them is tone deaf. I’m not saying it’s right he got the abuse he got or that he wasn’t given much of a chance but it was almost unfair on him to appoint him. I just think this is the kind of thing the board don’t understand, it’s different to a player from forest. Managers need to build up credit by wins and he was never going to be able to do that. - he’s not a great manager is he. The big red flag for me above anything was how forest fans were saying we love him for getting us promoted but he’s just absolutely nowhere a premier league manager. And then we were starting to play just like they did (I know they stayed up but that was because of how shit we were) and all their concerns were coming to the forefront - I actually preferred us playing more direct, I didn’t have a problem with that but there wasn’t any kind of plan or way of playing. It’s the same under Ruud and now we know it’s probably just how shit this group is. I was willing to give cooper a chance but it was just never going to work.

Besides being an obviously poor manager, what made cooper such a poor appointment was that he was never ever going to be accepted by the fans especially considering we would likely be losing most weeks, so he wouldn’t be able to build up credit. I wanted to give him a chance but how can you when we were shit every week and lost most weeks. It’s this time deaf type of shit that the board do which is so frustrating and further proof of their sheer incompetence.

I do think intelligence is genuinely an issue with our fanbase. The unwavering support for king power and the arguments put forward for that are just odd.
