  1. But why is that different to other clubs?
  2. This is what I don’t get though. Maybe it’s just not in our culture
  3. We aren’t loud away either though really.
  4. Yeah I mean we get utterly laughed at by everyone for using them but it is what it is I guess.
  5. Your last paragraph there is what I’m interested in. Why do we have so many of these types of fans? We aren’t a small club, we should have far More passion and pride for what we have achieved and the standards should be set from that. I know this season it’s utterly horrible but in general we seem to have this soft minded fan more than others do. Maybe I’m wrong but it feels like that.
  6. Do you not think they are completely embarrassing? Genuinely not having a go at you for using them, just interested.
  7. I remember playing Watford at home in 2019 I think this game was our 7th win in a row or something to cement our top 4 place early on in the season and the place was a morgue. Compare that to them lot up the road … it’s just odd with our fans.
  8. All interesting points but I do maintain that there does seem to be a different demographic and different type of fan going to away games in particular in comparison to other clubs. Arsenal away is a good example because you get a good view of it on tv, villa/forest/wolves even Brighton go there and it’s all stood at the front, we go there and it’s all sat and we look quite poor when a goal goes in. Not saying anything is wrong or people shouldn’t sit or have to jump around if we score but I’m just intrigued as to why it’s so different.
  9. Appreciate this has been discussed in the stadium atmosphere thread a little bit but I guess it’s a question for our more experienced fan on here, have our fans just always been a bit soft and half hearted compared to the rest? Especially compared to some of our rivals. Why are clappers universally accepted by our fanbase when they’d have been refused at other clubs our size? Why do we have so many sitters at away games? Why is there a focus on the opposition fans instead of our own team? We just don’t feel like a club that’s got a real raw passion to it in any way. We score a goal away from home (obviously not this season 😅) and there are never any genuine limbs or real passion celebrating a goal. I know we’ve had some half decent atmospheres over the years but let’s be honest there are levels to it. Just wondered, even going back to Filbert street, have we always just been a bit half hearted and soft? Not a football city?
  10. Bad egg, get rid asap. Oh wait, did we give him a 3 deal? Bloody Rudkin
  11. He’s way too defensive about his style. Ultimately it’s effective. It was effective here and it’s been effective at Chelsea. But it is absolutely boring as shit to watch. He can’t be annoyed that fans aren’t jumping off their seats in excitement!
  12. If anyone is happy with that, then there literally is no point. Offered absolutely nothing yet again
  13. Absolutely horrendous luck this season. Genuinely it’s been horrible on so many levels.
  14. There’s obviously a lot more history with derby than cov in terms of big games and good results for us but as a rivalry it’s pretty average. Cov absolutely hate us
  15. Feels like this is the weakest rivalry out of the 3.
  16. ****ing knew he would talk up that second half. Get the bloke gone man, utter shit
  17. Let’s not go for our greatest ever player when he’s getting **** all service please.
  18. “Players are giving everything”
  19. Leicester city ownership High wages to average players Not able to move high wage players on Poor recruitment Lack of communication Lack of interest from the owner Banning fans for next to nothing Their attitude to UFS Refusal to work with groups to really help match day atmosphere Appointment of Steve cooper and Ruud van nistelrooy Lack of pride in the club for past history (previous land of Filbert street for example) Inside look of the ground Clappers & honesty flags Dodgy betting sponsor on shirt No change to boardroom structure after relegation Not sacking Rodgers earlier Then leaving it up to Sadler and stowel and blowing two home games straight after Both the sacking of rodgers and cooper came 1 game after international break Top making footballing decisions (not a football person) £25 season card charge £10 to watch friendly online Too much focus on being a “family club” pushing other age groups out. Overseeing the biggest disconnect between fans and club arguably ever Multiple threats of points deductions Poor financial mismanagement with PSR lowest spenders in the premier league for the last 5 years and still constantly sail close to PSR line desperately needing to strengthen in January but the clubs past mistakes resulting in us being unable to. Careful what you wish for though.
  20. The fact that the manager can’t get us doing the basics yes but in reality, I don’t think even a decent manager would keep the lot up.
  21. We don’t have a chance though. Even if we win, this team have proved consistently we aren’t up to it.
