Think it’s awkward for him because at best he’s going to be a squad player/impact sub which he hasn’t been all his career and he probably still feels he can be the main man. Ultimately any club that takes him isn’t going to be able to build a team around him. Think he should have retired when he left us really. Theres nothing else for him to do in the game.
Seemed like it had a reputation of being a tough place in general to go. A bit like Leeds have now or Newcastle. Maybe not on that scale but still a tough place.
