Funny thing is when he first came he was a bit of a cult hero here. Ipswich and Saints away he was serenaded. Was genuinely decent for about 3 months and then turned into an old man.

It’s not all like that I don’t think.

Probably at any other club he would have had an impact. But such is the cloud that’s hanging over the club, it’s difficult for any manager to come in and have an effect. I don’t really judge Rowett too harshly to be honest. He’s shown in his career he’s a decent manager at this level but our players are just beyond help. Players let him down too. Stoke away (Thomas chance) Watford away (Daka) QPR (Nelson threw the game away). That said, his late subs and persistence with the same formation was annoying. I don’t think even if we had stayed up he’d have been given the job.

We probably haven’t even bothered looking yet.

We should do what Derby and Boro have done really. Think I’ll probably relocate to P block next year. It’s not ideal as there are some knobheads in there but even in the singing section last night there were people clapping winks and I just personally can’t associate myself with that. Someone near me started a KP out chant and got called a negative **** because of it. P block looked far more what I’d identify with.

P block looked the most lively last night against Rudkin/the board.

Showed yesterday he’s still got it. It’ll be a cut price deal, so low risk.

Last nights performance from him was everything we have missed for years. A real desire to head the ball and defend. Shame he’ll be off in the summer.
