If we’re honest when you’re a club like us and you reached those sort of highs it’s absolutely going to have a long term impact. Last season we were winning every game and it’s probably one of the least enjoyable seasons I’ve had supporting us. We won a Prem title & FA Cup in 5 years. I don’t think we as a fanbase will probably ever recover from what that’s done to expectations AND how we react to wins, losses etc

I had no idea Evans was still only 16. Assumed he was coming up to 18 for some reason. Hes got 8 goals in 13 games at U21 level. Some of his goals I’ve seen clips of have insane composure for someone that young.

I’ve been looking at where ex academy players in recent reasons have ended up. Darnell Johnson, Lamine Sherif, Kanya Leshabela and Liam Moore(!) have all ended up at Spalding United.
