The state of her legs suggest she’s really been through it, she’s got some big scars on both, I never did find out what her injuries were, but let’s hope she comes through and can have some impact next season.

I don’t think the women’s team comes into it. But losing Howard, Momiki, Cayman, Rose, Mace all would have been on decent salaries it’s just been one in one out prior to Lehmann who breaks that mould.

I’ve said for a long time we needed that marquee signing, I think initially it’ll put bums on seats as you say, although I’ve just had a look at sales for Sunday and it’s grim. The kick off times are killing it. Lehmann isn’t the best player, she brings the media circus,, however it will encourage others to follow, we just have to make sure they are the right fit for the team, I fear she isn’t personality wise but time will tell.

I’ve seen her 3 times when we played Villa, she was terrible in two of the games. She was sub a lot in her final season at Villa.

Just another average keeper, Iversen was another. Schmeichel dominated the position for years and yet the club still fail miserably to find a decent backup. Our scouting is mediocre, the whole lot need the boot.

Put Luke Thomas up front, the headless chicken movement might confuse a few centre backs. Ayew shouldn’t be anywhere near the bench let alone that no 9 shirt.

I do think the move for Williams and now Lehmann is to set the foundations to perhaps attract bigger names in the Summer. Williams at 38 won’t play every game, I don’t think Lehmann (if she signs) will either, 3 sub appearances at Como in 6 months, but I do think this does lay foundations for bigger things. The biggest loss this season will turn out to be Janice, this will be a relegation/play off battle again regardless of whether Lehmann signs or not, West Ham game is a big one.

Just leave him in Wrexham.

I do agree, the move to Juve was down to her then boyfriend who moved at the same time. She offers nothing on the pitch, this is just about raising the profile of the women’s team.

But isn’t a 4 year deal overpaying a player? Even if Thomas is on half of what Justin was? You end up paying the same for a player that offers less. And if Justin was ‘done here’ then Luke Thomas was done 3 years ago!

Advertised as being streamed on ‘Spursplay’ whatever that is. Can’t see it through the usual sources.
