Gates are down as well, less than 1400 on Sunday, only 1800 v Palace. Considering there was an international break for the men, and then an away trip to Southampton they could have tried men’s season ticket holders for a fiver or dad and daughter for a tenner. Supposed to be moving forward the women’s game but it’s going in reverse at LCFC right now..

Not sure if you watch on TV or go to games, we go home and away with them and you see things that add some weight to your comments that aren’t always caught on camera. What I’ve taken from the new season is that the team are following a process that will also include multiple game plans depending on how things are going, there is a lot of talking and pointing from player to player, almost as if they don’t know what’s expected or it’s confusing. As the Palace penalty went in, Bott pointed towards the wing and looked at the manager, then looked confused for example. As for Sunday, Miquel went into job save mode, 6 defenders on at one point, there could well have been consequences had they lost with her job? Who knows. The team are lacking confidence, don’t look as sharp, Sam Tierney has lost some bite in the midfield, she seems to be skipping around with token challenges, again I don’t know if she’s under instruction to do that. The injury to Mouchon is a bad one, and with Petermann and Draper also out, there’s no number 9, O’Brien was close but has had setbacks. At the moment I’m sat on the fence with Miquel, and I guess we can only truly judge her when she’s got something that resembles a forward line back for selection, but what she’s trying to implement is either taking it’s time or completely unworkable for some of the players. I’m told It’s a strong dressing room and they will down tools and make their feelings known if they don’t believe in it. Time will tell.

I’m hearing that Mouchons injury is a bad one. Been a terrible run of bad luck with these injuries.
-
Fatawu has completely changed the game. He would still start Ayew over him.
-
Cooper will bring himself on before Ricardo it seems.
-
Winks not happy at all. Cannot see how that change will make an impact.
-
Well it’s good to see Cooper has used the 2 week break to make us look even worse than we were prior to it.
-
We were beaten by Palace easily, so we handed them 3 points.
-
Agreed it’s a must win, having already handed Palace 3 points and we’ve not faced any in form teams yet. Moving towards a quarter of the league season gone already too.

I’ve seen nothing so far to suggest we can find a route to goal let alone score one. Feels very flat at the moment, got tickets for away games for Brighton and West Ham in the hope we have some players back, Rantala won’t be seen until February. Board needs to spend money in the next window.

The definitive game for every Leicester scoreline
SK3Blue replied to Nalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
1-0 v Oxford, Tony James, 90/91 kept us up. 5-0 v Cambridge in the play offs securing first trip back to Wembley for over 20 years. -
Set up for a nil nil and got it. Forward players injury list piling up, Cain and O’Brien not far away but no idea on Petermann. Heard that Rantalas injury could mean a lengthy lay off, Missy Goodwin left Villa Park limping, and was also told Mouchon is injured despite being named on the bench. Rose has pace but when she needs to burst into the box off the ball, she jogs. She offers very little else. Not convinced by this manager at all, I’ve seen the first 5 games (inc conti cup) and she’s talking players through games, and at one point today with 88 gone there was 4 coaching in our technical area talking away to players. Just seems to be too many voices and too much in game coaching as if the players are failing to interpret or execute the plan.
-
You are right, pretty sure it was Sven that complained about the schedule when he was England boss and they were introduced 03/04.
-
Burton Albion do some great food, LCFC women’s conti cup games played there, had a huge box of chips and sausage for £4.20 Everything is reasonably priced, nice staff too.
-
I think it’s the hangover from last season, we look better away from home but it feels like a long time since we were applauding them at full time at Tranmere having won in the Cup. The winless run needs to end!
-
The words coming from Miquel is work in progress and still working towards ‘the process’ Yesterday was a massive failure to execute that plan which means the players are either unfit, unmotivated or failing to interpret what’s required. A lot of it comes from Mouchon sadly, she flattered to deceive in pre season, she looks clumsy on the ball and unwilling to graft off of it. We had no outball option, everything we did was telegraphed and easy to read, second to everything too.

Posted an instagram story at the time, tagging the ex manager with him in shot at chatsworth house

That was awful today, manager doesn’t seem to have a clue on her best 11 or indeed how to set them up. Kop has played well so was surprised to see Jani recalled today. Thibaud was horrendous with nearly every pass wayward, Cayman and Goodwin really poor and Mouchon I’ve never seen a player look so disinterested. Need Petermann and O’Brien back, really hope this manager works out but I’m not convinced she’s going to improve us.

Carrying a slight knock during the week so sub today.
-
Only we could find someone equally as inept as Daka, step forward Ayew once again.
-
I think a lot of it is down to it being played at Burton too, last season the crowd barely topped 1000 for the Villa WSL game and half of that was Villa fans up the A38. Nevertheless the game was poorly promoted by the club, ticket prices were not lowered and there was also no reduction for ST holders so for a league cup game against lower league opposition played away at Burton with a second string side it’s an own goal from LCFC I’m afraid.
-
Draper away on international duty. Started with too many changes last night, Ale, Pelgander and Takarada were poor. Leitzig did her best but our penalties were not up to scratch. Very low crowd, I’d estimate 150 but when the club doesn’t start selling until 6 days before and takes them off sale a day before it’s never going to shift many tickets.

My lad had quite a bit of hassle yesterday trying to put a fire certificated flag up (which he did no problem home and away last season) at the women’s game v Arsenal. He always puts it in the EMPTY family stand. One steward said place low down on the seats only, eventually agreeing, after initially stopping him passing through altogether, then said he couldnt hang it on the railings as people could fall as he gazed over at 6000 empty seats in a stand that isn’t open on women’s match days.

Really struggle to watch games now in the EPL and this new champions league format is just designed to bleed every last penny out of fans. I watch Leicester women’s team and a bit of non league locally.
