A mate of mine that runs a recruitment business said that before Christmas they received loads of CVs for people from the finance department at the club. Those people will see exactly who is and isn’t being paid, if there is money available and will jump before they are pushed. Not a good sign.

Can’t find this on my normal go to watch places. Got every other game!

He is constantly shoving players in the back. I'm convinced it is because he has such little football prowess that it is the first thing that comes into his head. Either that or he has got one of his mates to put a bet on for him as to how many fouls he will commit. Wouldn't surprise me given the rumours about his gambling.

I’ve been doing my job for almost 30 years. I’ve financed thousands of cars in that time. Sometimes I will have a thought about a client that might have settled their finance five years ago or sometimes many more years than this. I won’t have had any contact with them during this time. They then call or email the next day or a couple of days later out of the blue. This happens quite a lot and I find it really odd.

Went for my 50th in the summer. It was excellent. We did the same 7 course taster menu with the accompanying wine flight. With a vesper martini to start and an Old Fashioned at the end of the meal, it was a boozy evening!

Agreed sir. They have had a lot of my money over the years taking ladies for first dates. It was always impressive and like a place nobody had heard of.

Very overpriced. My son’s £30 sirloin steak which he asked for rare looked more like a minute steak and was served blue! Saute potatoes were a bowl of mush. The white wine was warm. There were only a few tables occupied and we waited ages for them to take our drinks order. Then the gap between starters being taken away and main course being served was about a minute! Sadly, we won’t be going back.

One to avoid sadly would be Casa Romana. We went a couple of weeks ago and having visited regularly for the past 30 years, it has gone downhill. The quality of the food was nowhere near what it used to be and whilst being the same as it has always been was a selling point over the years, it badly needs dragging into the present day.

Was hoping for a good set of norks to oggle on this series of The Traitors like there was on the last series. It appears I’m being disappointed.

In all my years of being a season ticket holder unless I have been away I have only missed one game and that was Middlesbrough this season. I couldn’t face going down there after the dire performance against Blackburn. I won’t be going today. There are 14 of us that all have tickets in the same area of G2 and none of us are going.

Paying your staff late is the act of a dying business. Pay HMRC late, pay suppliers late and it doesn’t affect your day to day business until suppliers put you on stop. Pay your staff late and they down tools and morale drops instantly. if it was “to bring payment dates in line with the rest of the KP group” then why tell them the day before pay day? Tell them before so they can plan. Our club is fecked.

John Lewis in Leicester is looking very run down. I have heard they are there rent free as if they go, High Cross couldn’t survive after the loss of Debenhams. The place has so many empty units as it is.

I’m re-watching Narcos Mexico having binge watched it and Narcos in lockdown. Very, very good if you haven’t watched it.

Yep. We put an extension on ours in the Stoneygate conservation area. Went ultra modern in complete contrast to the Edwardian house. Planners and the conservation society loved it and said if we had tried to replicate / copy the existing house we wouldn’t have got it through. Used a brilliant architect who does a lot in conservation areas. Let me know if you want their details.
