If they give you a low offer for the car, email them links to the Autotrader adverts for comparable cars and say this is what I have to spend to get a like for like car. You do not have to accept their first offer.

If it is written off you will be able to buy it from your insurance company for a song. It will be forever marked as a write off at dvla and hpi but if you love the car, keep it and repair it. You will get the payout and often you can get the repairs done for much less than the insurance assessment costs.

We have the Ohme Epod. Went for it as it is compatible with cheap tariffs on multiple suppliers and it is a neat little unit. Some of them are massive and look ugly on the front of your house.

It works for us from a company car tax perspective and is an all round brilliant car. The engine is so good in petrol, electric and hybrid modes. I have the most marmite BMW ever made on order with the same engine in it, the XM. The only colour it looks ok in is black so that is what I have gone for! I run a car finance company and have sold a lot of cars for the BMW dealer we work with and they have looked after me on price so it is a financial choice more than anything for the XM. I would have had an X5 but two of them on the drive would have made us look like Howard and Hilda (showing my age there🤣)

The wife has a 50e. Tanzanite blue with silverstone interior. It is hell of a car and a massive step up from the Q5 she had prior to the X5. I charge it (obviously not her!!) every other night and I can’t remember the last time we put petrol in it! £1.60 to charge it on a EV tariff!

Just got back from three nights in Ibiza with 12 mates from university celebrating several of their 50ths. I’m utterly broken. Far too old for three hardcore days on it. Second time staying at Pikes Hotel which is an amazing place. I did not enjoy the 2 hour queue to get through security at Birmingham airport on the way out.

I got exactly the same letter. Said that they were going to do it in March. They have never been to do it. Hope it stays that way.

Went there a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. Great service, chef explained the dishes really well and the food was excellent. It was three quarters full when we were there. Hope that is enough to keep them going.

Been to Sani Club several times and Dunes once. Now out of our price range as the kids are same price as us! We are now going to their Ikos resorts instead which are just as good. You will have a great time. Vardy and Gary Cahill were there at the same time as us on our last stay there.
