Of course we can go down, happened before albeit with a lesser talented squad, but this bunch look as though they will turn up and think they will win regardless of the efforts they output which is what worries me. I think next season will be the worrying one. Quite a few players leaving on frees, Abdul/Monga et al will leave, money could be there to spend (PSR permitting), and if we dont replenish the squad with anything better than what we currently have (tough ask I know!) I will be worried for what season will bring. That being said, I think we are in for a few seasons of mid table boredom, but if it means we blood the youngsters and back the academy/find a footballing identity again I wouldn't be so bothered.

He was being treated on the same ward as someone else I know. Had nothing but good to say about the club and was still having a part to play with Matty and Tags so he wasn't completely relieved of his duties. The most iconic voice of our club and as another poster said, and it gave me goosebumps, hearing him say - "Number 9, Jamie VARDY!" "And now, your LEICESTER CITY SIDE!" will forever give me great memories. Legend of the club, rest in peace Brad.

Worst performance you've seen live from a Leicester player

Ward vs Wolves - unbelievable that being a Goalkeeper is his profession and how he earns a ridiculously luxurious wage doing so. One that stands out for me is Faes at Anfield with the two OG's though. -
Ian Marshall comes into my work sometimes, I always pick his brain about that era of Leicester City and get some unreal insight from him. Best player he ever played with? You'd probably go to Muzzy everytime if you had to guess. He said that Emile was the best player he ever had a privelege of playing with - only thing he needed to be "world class" in Ian's point of view was to use his strength more and not go down as easily. Emile was a huge hero of mine growing up, and like Nalis said - imagine him and Vards up top - wow!

The Championship is Hamza's level, think we all know that. I have no problems in keeping him - local lad who might actually care unlike the long list of players we have that don't at the moment. Not sure he justifies his wage which is my only issue keeping him on board, other than that he is a useful utility player IMO.

We all know unfortunately this wont happen - would be very surprised if it did. A young, upcoming manager who has done a decent job with a club with less funds, worse facilities and (on paper) worse players... makes far too much sense for Top and co to pay compensation for him. Announce Martin and get it over and done with - until about November when the Sean Dyche rumours start up again anyway...

Great pod as always fellas, always look forward to it. Think Guy clearly has knowledge but came across a bit "I'm right you're wrong" when in reality what Ric has been saying about throwing the kids in I completely agree with at this stage of the season. Where he was on about the bloke with 300 caps 30 years of age - yeah fair at the start of the season, but we literally have nothing to lose blooding these academy products in regardless of if he thinks they are a 1 or a 9!

Ha, that's true. Hopefully a bit more optimism on the football side next season - can't get much worse can it! Thanks for the message. Yeah that is the reaction I got - everyone after a couple of weeks of it being in my system could see a big change - I just find the side affects of not taking them really uncomfortable but fear I have been on them for too long now to consider dropping them, especially 150mg a day. Will have to have a word with the GP I think. Thanks a lot for the message. Wouldn't ever stoop as low as that now - I have a 15 month old daughter who is my life and soul and wouldn't do it to her. I don't have any family which makes it tough and makes me think nobody would miss me but I wouldn't ever do that to anyone. I was younger when I tried and my life has changed significantly and it has given me a reason to get out of bed in the morning when previously I would fester for days, ringing in sick at work and just exist. I appreciate the message and can tell it is a touching subject for you but I can assure you those thoughts are a thing of the past, however low I get. I know I can talk to people on here and I have a couple of others but I find it hard to talk but I know it helps, and like I have said before, I need to practice what I preach. All 3 of you, thanks so much. You don't know how far the support goes, honestly.

Hi all, Has anyone ever been prescribed Venlafaxine? I have been suffering with mental health for about 8/9 years now, and have been on velafaxine for around 3 of these as the other meds didn't touch the sides or help whatsoever. Tried taking my own life twice and although my life isn't all rosey (well, whos is?) I would love to come off the meds one day. I know when I haven't taken my dose though as I get what they call "brain zaps" around midday which are vile to say the least. Has anyone ever been on these for a while then come off of them? If so how did it go? I haven't posted much on here before but slowly posting more, just know I am always available to talk to anyone about anything if it helps! No problem is too big or too small - if they are affecting you and you need someone to talk to get in touch. Cheers for reading - hate doing things like this but need to practice what I preach I guess and the FT forum seems a welcoming one from what I've seen!

Genuinely think both of their penalty claims were rightly awarded but also think our shout on McAteer should have been given. Nice to see a bit of fight amongst the group - be good to see this attitude for the rest of the season. I know we gave up a lot of chances too but we definitely play better in this shape and as a few others have said - we need to be starting Mavididi. His energy and ability to take on a man is so valuable and keeps us up the other end of the pitch a bit longer.

When did you first realise we don't have good owners?
BDW-11 replied to Gamble92's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not sacking Rodgers sooner for me. Should have gone after the Forest cup game then we would have had a chance, left it too late - inept. Massive thankyou for the memories, the trophies, the charity work Vichai launched, but time to go. -
Just wish he retired on a high and hung them up end of last season. Best player to ever wear the shirt, doesn't deserve to be associated with this useless group. Seen he has been getting some heat for missing a few chances, the guy is nearly 40 years of age playing in arguably the best league in the world with no support feeding off scraps. Yes he would have liked to take a few and maybe with more confidence he would have, but won't be getting any slander from me and I imagine the majority of the fanbase. The guy is a legend and if he is to bow out in May, it is such a shame that this squad will be his last. But think either way it should be, financially doesn't make sense giving him another year. It is the boards fault yet again for not replacing him or even providing him with any competition for so long. He has carried us, not his fault.

Will you go to any more matches this season?
BDW-11 replied to hejammy's topic in Leicester City Forum
Currently got a family members season ticket as he is really ill and cant go. I used to love it but this team is so unlikeable it seems a chore. I don't usually get to go so for that reason I will be going, next season I imagine tickets will be easier to get hold of so will judge it when I see who is in charge I guess... -
Just doing a Leicester save myself, couldn't not! Anyone else finding the game fairly easy this year though? Playing a modified wing-play tactic - 4-3-3 with a BWM in front of the back 4 with a DLP and KDH playing as a box to box. Fatawu as a winger on the right and Mavididi as an IF on the left. Sold a few at the start of season one - main ones being Kelechi (£25m) and Vestergaard (£9m) which I used to strengthen a few areas. Got Moukoko from Dortmund on loan - him and Mavididi pretty much carried me to winning the league with 106pts (one more point would have been nice!) The funniest part though - won the FA Cup 😂 cant remember the exact run but didn't once face a "top 6" side. Last 3 games were Forest, then Everton in the semi's which I won AET (ironically Sensi scored a last minute free kick for us, touchy subject right now!) Then had Brentford in the final and won it scrappily 1-0. Some will say lucky cup run some will say it's far too simple this year - I think it's a bit of both. Started the season at home against Liverpool and won 4-0... they had a few key players out but still seems a bit easier than previous editions! But then in the Championship season Leeds did the double over me and I lost simple games like home vs Preston... so not consistently easy but a league and cup double in Season 1 wasn't what I was expecting to say the least!

Can someone tempt me to buy this?! I need convincing! I've watched some of the feature videos on YouTube but is it much different to last year? I bought last years and really struggled to get into a save after my Sunderland one which was about 5 seasons worth. Also, have they made the press conference answers any more varied? So frustrating the limited answers currently! Thanks in advance guys
