    Depression

Yeah - currently on 150mg venlafaxine a day. Really wish I could get off them but it is impossible. Friends do, family have nothing to do with me anymore which hurts. It's more work now - started a new job in June and they are all so different to me. None of them get it and think I am taking things personally when really it is just my head. Told them this before I joined but it has gone in one ear and out of the other at the moment. That would be really good. Don't know anyone else in a similar boat - thanks for this mate.

    Depression

I have BPD. Mood swings are really getting the best of me and I am struggling. Go from laughing my head off with colleagues in the morning to suddenly feeling extremely depressed. No middle ground whatsoever. Could be the slightest inconvenience that most would laugh off, to me it cripples me and puts me in a rabbit hole of depression again. None of my family want/have anything to do with me anymore. Barely any friends. No social life. Just a constant rollercoaster of feeling great then feeling terrible. No idea why I have even posted this, feels good to get it out of my head somewhere, so apologies for this drivel.
  3. Overall very happy with it, especially the deadline day business as that plugged all of the obvious gaps - especially some help up top with Riis. Still unsure about Cullen, but think you need to give the new faces time to gel and for the manager to find their best place in the team. Hoping he comes good but not holding my breath with him, seems like one of those players where nobody knows his best position. Mcfarlane is a beast, think he could be incredible for us this year. A lot of them though seem good on paper, think we are going to have to give them time to prove their worth. All in all though, the majority of the swamp has been drained. Be nice to see the back of Okoli and Faes though!
  4. I got told off by an elderly lady for booing at full time whistle. “What will that achieve?” It will make me feel ****ing BETTER. We’ve just watched our team lose against Burton Albion. At home. In the LEAGUE. Not booing the whole of the playing squad, but paying money to watch those tactics employed by players that can’t do it, I will ****ing boo as much as I want to! We are at our lowest ever point, what’s to be happy about this afternoon? Joke.
  5. Stolarcyk Joseph Aluko Okoli Mcfarlane Braybrooke Page Howell Chaplin Alves Bristric Don't see the need for a Skipp/Hamza type figure in the middle of the pitch against a low block. Presume that Souttar will be a blade by the weekend and Aluko in his one game at CB last year looked handy, Okoli next to him due to no other options. Hoping Thomas doesn't kick a ball for us ever again. Howell over Burns as Burns struggled to get into the game on Saturday. If Chaplin isn't fit, Howell in the 10, Alves on the right, Watson on the left. No idea what Cullen is offering or what his best position is? Got to move the ball quicker in the final third and think Page playing in the 8 would be a great foil for Sammy who can dictate play from a bit deeper.
  6. Just hope we sort the defence out as that looked beyond league two level let alone league one.
  7. Only 3 I’ve got any positives for so far are Braybrooke, Joseph and Alves. Doesn’t look anywhere near a polished team with clear process. Hard though I guess when your captain clearly doesn’t want to be here, you’re missing the whole left side of the pitch because they are awful and no focal point up top. Still worrying me how vulnerable we look defensively…
  8. Not sure what’s worse… the hydration break or Stephy Mavididi
  9. Anyone downloading the update on FM Scout and having a crack at the rebuild?
  10. I love the bloke, but no. 200 goals, 500 appearances - leave it as it is. Would love for him to be involved in the club in some capacity in the future, a non-playing role, but he deserves better than League One football and Jon Rudkin.
  11. Scored 4 goals in his last 29 games mate, I dont think he would be the answer - dont need another Daka!
  12. I’ve been getting grief off someone called Julie Sutton didn’t realise she is well known 🤣
  13. I’ll be going purely to let out some pent up fcking BOOOOOOOOO’s as I couldn’t make it tonight. Will make me feel better. In the pub for half time.
  14. Good riddance. Seen a payday and took it didn’t he. Cares as much as the players.
  15. Longest sentence ever 🤣
  16. I did it quickly in anger 🤣
  17. This is what the problem is. I’m arguing with KPFC brigade. I can’t fathom what they’re actually thinking. What on earth am I reading. “Support the players” are they fciking serious?!?!
  18. Not bothering tonight, mentally on my arse as it is without wasting time, money and effort on that bunch of wasters. In the words of our manager, "rinse and repeat." 4-2-3-1, Mavididi starting, just had enough of it. I never hope for my team to lose but I actually want us to tonight so we can be put out of our misery - we're already dead in the water aren't we lets just get it over and done with. First game I wont be at this season, just hope the crowd give Top and Rudkin what for. "Tops playing polo, we're going bust" for the duration please.
  19. Done. Can tell a lot of hard work goes into the Foxes Trust so I really hope that the results of this do something for our club. No doubt they will mark the whole thing as irrelevant and carry on killing us but I admire the effort that goes into it!
  20. Hard to find positives really but not seeing the majority of the same regurgitated line up every week will be refreshing.
  21. I admit after Bristol City I got a bit of hope back, but it doesn't take long for it to be knocked out of you again does it. Personally resigned to the fact the highest we will finish this year is 22nd. 4-2-3-1 unchanged team, 2-1 defeat, rinse and repeat.
  22. Played on a lot of them, middle pockets are very forgiving to say the least!
  23. Didn't know if it was worth having a pool thread on here - I looked through the General Football and Sport threads down to 2024 and didn't see one but if I missed it, feel free to delete, Mods! I imagine their must be quite a few members who play on here in the various competitions in the county nowadays with venues like 147 and The Cue Club hosting a lot of them, then new venues popping up in Hinckley and soon Loughborough. With the Ultimate Pool tournament starting tomorrow, thought it would be a good place to talk about the format and maybe help each other with stuff they're struggling with to improve their game!
  24. Got them all other than the Bangladesh international.. so frustrating 😂 Although took me ages to remember Ayoze!
  25. He was fantastic last night. Think he has been to blame for a few fvck ups this season but a lot of the time his winger wasn't helping him. Whereas Mavididi last night put a shift in as well which takes a bit of pressure off of Luke - tracking one man rather than two. Rowett and Davidson definitely helping bring the best out of him though - Skipp MOTM but Luke a close 2nd for me.
