I think if you are used to a small scale intimate facility, then a large expansive one can well feel like that. Part of the buzz in a space comes from it feeling busy.

The scale of it is certainly more alarming, and the level of organisation it implies. Yes they would struggle to project power that far, while we could get more troops and planes there within 24 hours if need be. Its a direct 15 hour flight, with Fighter Jets obviously needing to refuel.

Ditto the thugs at every other protest from pro-Palestinian to trans activists. Its almost like they are there for a fight and to be able to throw horrible abuse the other party with no accountability.

The main positives are 1) getting rid of the negativity. If Faes or Okoli are also in that camp we should pay them off. 2) is a massive reduction in the wage bill. Even if a few of the older signings are not perfect, or are deadwood in the Championship in a year or two, it won't matter because they can be moved on due to sensible salaries. Our main problem shifting players in the past has been overpaying for transfer fees and wages making it impossible to move them on. We appear to have stopped doing this. 3) is while we were looking to sign players, our academy lads have done brilliantly, earning themselves a spot at the table. Its now up to them to keep the new boys out of the starting 11.

If OHL manager doesn't want him, pay him off. If he does then the split of wages is pretty irrelevant.

We had deep seated social issues before Thatcher, but yes I don't disagree. The reason the utilities were sold off cheap is because they had decades of massive underinvestment which would have otherwise had to be funded through taxation. The mistake I think has been to allow them to be sold to foreign companies which has zero social contract with their customers. That said I now live with state owned power and water and it certainly has it's benefits.
