  1. No idea what the hell that gesture was. What a ****ing weird bloke he is.
  2. Ah I should have gone to sleep at half time
  3. I’d say something about Fulham not taking their chances if I felt it would continue.
  4. We’re due a bit of luck. 3-1 win. 🏆
  5. Are you talking about me???
  6. I’m glad to hear that, very talented man! I was a huge Poppies fan in the day.
  7. Probably because they have not won anything or been in Europe, they don't have players knocking down the door demanding pay rises to stay. They have no ambition to be much more than mid table survival team. It will work until it doesn't. When they get relegated again it won't be a disaster. They will never win the league or FA Cup though.
  8. Im convinced the average Joe is better off than ever, more informed than ever, has access to more knowledge than ever in history at his literal finger tip, and they still voted for Donald Trump. We are in the main as parochial and as easily controlled as we ever were.
  9. Attractive as that might be, novated leases are currently available from pre-tax earnings without fringe benefit tax, so you can save a bit on leases, eg Tesla model 3 for about $850 a month net if you are higher rate taxpayer.
  10. Hopefully for a decent wedge then. Good luck to him. Lets spend the PSR room wisely. Yes I know, very unlikely but we have to hope.
  11. Fortunately, I think we can rely a few factors to ensure this is not an issue: 1) the short termism very common in large companies (which is not entirely illogical) will result in them taking the short terms revenues over long term ones. 2) The cures will not always be developed or bought by the same companies who have the market share for chronic treatments. Those cures will in fact be significantly more valuable to competing companies who are therefore much more likely to acquire those who develop them (i.e. if you are the dominant player for chronic treatments, are you even investing in a cure? Your competitors are though, because for them the whole market is there for the taking. 3) Surely some Scientists still do research for the glory and to make the world a better place! If my cure was blocked I would leak it for sure.
  12. If you take into account the tax income from North Sea oil and gas, the duty on selling it as fuel, the income tax and NI from all those employed etc, it might well have put so much into the treasury that is effectively did.
  13. No, they cannot charge us for last year after today
  14. Yessss!!! Brilliant third set Katie through to the second round!
  15. if we dont have it we dont have it.
  16. Sentient puddles are certainly an alarming prospect. I wonder if we would necessarily even recognize the form life might take elsewhere in the universe.
  17. Don't tell the Ayew haters that.
  18. I think it is because class players don't need to join a basket case of a club in a relegation battle, and if they did we would end up paying stupid wages next year in the Championship.
  19. Zero chance Newcastle let him go, they need the depth if they are going to progress.
  20. Welcome to Brentford Matt.
  21. If you use a machine exactly in line with the manufacturer's maintenance schedule (which has already been proven in the investigation), and a part which was not yet due for inspection let alone replacement fails resulting in a fatal accident, then I think they have a case. The value of potential compensation is a separate legal point, i.e. does it have anything to do with the manufacturer how rich you are and should that impact the compensation level.
  22. At some point we have to get lucky with a striker.
  23. I hope it all goes as well as can be under the circumstances and is a lovely celebration of your Mum's life.
  24. They are performing well no doubt. but I think we are a few seasons away from saying they sustained it. I am sure a number of these clubs have learned from our lesson of not overpaying players though.
  25. They haven't sustained it yet though have they? Wait and see.
