To be fair to him, being under offer by a club you played for more than us would be quite unsettling. He also fairly recently got back from the world cup excitement to find himself playing in League 1. It would be quite normal to need to take a few games to get used to the idea. It's the manager's job to motivate him if he stays and get the best out of him.

You could say the same about plenty of mass-produced English or Australia beer (Carling anyone? Pint of Fosters?. Fortunately, the world over, small & craft brewers entered the space left by the mass market brands, and have produced wonderful beers. That not the valuation basis here, the whole package only makes sense together. The stadium is almost worthless without a club to play in it, but with that club it is a route to riches etc.

If you want to buy a football club, you also need to consider the cost of buying another one and adding the facilities we have. What would it cost and how long would it take to build a new stadium and training ground today? Much more than that I suspect. Everyone building recently has spent much more than the carrying value of the stadium. Everton spent GPB750M, Leeds are spending GBP200M on a refurb of Elland road.

While of course we need to keep an eye on the side effects over time, they are showing some unbelievably good health benefits across a range of illnesses, not just weight loss. They have the potential to save the healthcare sector including the NHS many billions by reducing a range of diseases, and as a side point they make people happier and lighter. What exactly are you worried about?
