The more I think about it, this idea of Gaza’s population moving permanently to neighbouring countries is a threat to those countries that if they don’t help in the short term with money and recognition of Israel they get a much worse outcome. in the short term it also bolsters BN with the right.

I hope he is doing his old trick of making outrageous statements so when a sensible compromise is later offered both sides see it as an acceptable option. I am probably being too generous.

Unless the rules only allow them to suspend for a week of course.

It was about 1/100th of the price I think, although the main point as I understand it being they found a much more efficient way for the algorithm to find the answer, therefore the whole calculation for the processing chip demand that underpinned NVIDIA share price was wrong, which the markets seem to have worked out this week. I am not going to look at my pension this week, as it has a decent chunk in big tech.

I'm not saying he isn't injury prone, but the bloke is 31. Our main striker is 38 and we still bang on like 31 is ancient.

Lets be honest we have plenty of evidence of what is going on in those and ohter places, but we accept it because we either cannot change it or we have to live our lives.

I think that overstating it a little. Putin isn’t about to invade a NATO country, he can’t even keep Ukraine forces out of Russia. don’t underestimate the strength of feeling against becoming a vassal state of Russia in the baltics.

Flipping heck!! -
Its a bit nonsense the price of gold is where it is mainly due to China getting out of USD, but Gold is actually a very useful metal. Excellent conducting capabilities and doesn't rust for a start. Soft so good for filling etc. None of that pushes the price to 3k though.

These stories seem to be setting the scene for AI age verification on Amazon etc. Its coming, and they want us to accept it as necessary. Or am I paranoid?

As we know from the first time round, he says lots of shit he will never do, and he does things which were never mentioned before they are announced. Although he is indeed doing a lot of things he said he would so far, but it is only 48 hours in, plenty of time for more nonsense to be uttered off the cuff that the media gets excited about but never happens. I think he would be quite happy to lose the ability to do some expensive things in court battles tbh.

I wish this was funny.

Easy to say when you are out of jail and don't need a job.

Its an opening gambit, so I doubt he expects anything like it. Also I don't think Russia wants a deal with 200k Nato troops in Ukraine. That said, we had way more than 10% our troops stationed in Germany not that long ago.

While both are unpleasant, only one of them is trying to drag the center right into fascist land with him.

That’s an interesting point. Certainly that was behind some colonial activities but I suspect they were riding on the coattails of military power and greed.

500k then.

I think that is a bit of a stretch. Not supporting the pardons, as they were convicted in a robust process imo, but they were certainly not charged with attempted murder.

Not sure the headline writer read the article... UK CEO survey. More of a sad reflection on the instability in the world unfortunately than a great vote of confidence in the UK economy.
