The difficulty of the way this competition is setup is you almost need a couple of AC finals to get close, but each time you have to fight off the other challengers to get there. The Italians might have a better chance at beating the Kiwis at the second attempt that we do, but we beat them to the final. the Kiwis are very good sailors, but also have the technical advantage of setting the rules, choosing the location etc. Much as I would love us to win it, I think it won;t happen this time, but hopefully in 2 years.

The worry is that he is now able to use the levers of power more effectively than last time, but given his cognitive decline I think more likely outcome if he wins is he says a lot more stupid things, swans about the place and buggers off in the ether after 3 years or so leaving a way out of his depth Tim Vance in charge leading to a huge defeat in the next GE.

I don't see frankly any alternative now to Israel / the US taking out Iran's missile and indeed nuclear materials production sites. They have now basically lost their Hezbollah and Hamas frontline, and if that doesn't lead to them developing nuclear weapons it would be a miracle.
