  1. Starmer is not hanging out is he? Look at him, he looks about as relaxed as me in a flat roof pub.
  2. See the TV screen behind them ? There is another one like that directly in front of them behind the one facing sideways.
  3. I wouldn't say he is lying, but he is omitting certain facts. If they want to actually change something they are going to need cash, so they will have to increase taxes somewhere beyond those they already mentioned. I do think they manifesto is deliberately non ambitious, and once in power they will push to do more and tax more to get there.
  4. I don't mind the country being protective of animals, I think it is a good thing.
  5. While this is true, it comes from a long history of violence between the police and young black men. The same is not true between the Feltham police and cows. Unless I missed something.
  6. Those who feel they are morally superior and really good at being *****. People who cannot even spell Israeli should probably stay off the internet.
  7. He may have wanted to start in the summer, or not fancied the project, or been locked into his Chelsea contract until a set date. Or he might have an unreasonably high opinion of himself.
  8. I went into a community pub once, it had a flat roof and everything.
  9. Or Foden isn't half the player for England that he is for Man City. Some players just don't work as well in a different environment. He has literally played nowhere else has he? No loans etc.
  10. There are no nations taking part. Only clubs.
  11. I am thinking if you hadn't sworn the first time they wouldn't have put you on the lets wind this guy up naughty list. Seriously though I would be putting in an FOI request to find out what is going on.
  12. Cool. Who names these events though? Sellers on Aliexpress? Its not Womens International Football FFS.
  13. I suppose it beats being hit by a fast moving car. Tricky buggers cows. Edit, oh no it was a fast moving car. I had imagined them nudging into it. Poor thing. Jesus. I swa a few posts saying "would they do this to a dog"? No they shoot dogs they can't control. Also they knock thieves off scooters. The calf on the other hand was no doubt terrified.
  14. The world would be a better place without either Hamas or Hezbollah that is for sure. Hopefully the fact that they don't have the tunnel infrastructure means any Northern war would be shorter and less bloody. I do find it desperately sad that Hamas spent all this time and money building a tunnel network and arming themselves when they could have built a country from the base they inherited when the IDF left Gaza. What a waste.
  15. Power with Principles can be worst of all if those principles are not the right ones.
  16. Never watch ITV in general.
  17. Takes me back to the opening game against Brazil in the 1998 WC which I watched in a pub in Edinburgh. Early Brazil Goal didn't quell the Awesome atmosphere and after Collins scored it went mental.
  18. I hate them with a fiery passion.
  19. They don't mean the wealthy though do they? They mean the liberal intelligentsia (Jews?) who ignore the reality on the ground in the quest for moral superiority. So if you are a bloke who doesn't like brown people moving in and takin all the jobs (which you didn't want anyway) cos they are simultaneously going to rape our women and blow us up then the elite is not rich white people, it is those people on the TV / Podcast / Radio who interview and mock people like you. Easy win. I would say there is something a little media "I am clever and know the world" about the three of them when they get going, although I listen regularly and am a big fan and indeed consider myself fairly clever and know a bit about the world. Easy target for the Reform types I think.
  20. We can only hope he knows he is off anyway, might as well throw caution to the wind and go for it, especially as we are swimming in attacking talent and in a desert of defensive ability.
  21. This is the intelligence of candidates. Seriously. Craig Williams: Sunak aide admits placing bet on general election (bbc.com)
  22. Except the election authorities investigate funding no? Besides everyone knows Tice and his chums are behind it, so why bother? Also note no one managed to provide any evidence whatsoever to support the idea Russian money was behind brexit either, so I suggest this is just conspiracy nonsense. Given the number of numpties being interiewed on TV every other day support Reform I am not sure why you think it is impossible they raise 25 quid from each of them. What 15% in the polls?
  23. How exaclty does one route money from rich backers visa thousands of people at 25?
  24. You don't need it anymore tbh, but there was a period where most sport was only on there, and it had good movies etc. Sunak is in between us in age by the looks of it. I certainly never had it until I paid for it myself.
  25. I'm sure plenty of Tories are excellent at relating to the public (which includes a lot of middle class people you know), sadly none of them are presently in the cabinet. Sunak is terrible. I am sure his parents were indeed lower middle class to start with, but its hard to argue you understand going without when you went to public school.
