As our stats suggest, we cannot (and won't) keep getting away with poor performances and the odd lucky result. We'll get sinking soon enough if we don't address things.

Glad I don't live in the US. Any kind of solidarity and greater good gets promptly pushed aside when gas prices, which are far lower than in comparable Western countries anyway, goes up a bit.

The establishment? He's been sued by all corners of the country, state and civil. People want him to be held accountable for the crimes he's committed.
-
What makes you think the 'rest of the world' are any better, more competent or otherwise?
-
It depends from which side you view this. It works blindingly well for those wishing to manipulate the stupid masses and not having to worry about legitimacy issues.
-
Except we live in times where everything, even hard truths, are up for debate. I don't trust the population of the US to wake up and smell the coffee any time soon.

No one will remember Trump, what he did or what he was responsible for when time comes. The people will be utterly ignorant of anything. Braindead sheep.
-
In which case, what a di€k move on multiple levels Trump is old and barely escaped an assassination attempt. He'll probably top himself by swinging a 5 iron to his head. Just hang in there.

Brian Riemer, recently sacked by Anderlecht, has now got the NT coach job (fourth person in charge in less than 6 months). He's come out today and said he won't be changing much. My guess is that as long as Kasper performs to a high level for Denmark, he's likely to remain first choice. Apart from a couple of years in the early 2010s, Denmark have really just been using three goalkeepers since 1988 (Peter & Kasper Schmeichel and Thomas Sørensen). Peter and Thomas both overstayed their welcome and I see Kasper doing the same eventually.
-
He gets on the end of a fair few I feel, but his heading is a bit wayward when attacking. I do hope he can add defensive stability, because we should have been conceding a few more goals so far if we're honest.
-
We've been absolutely shocking without him though. He can only be an improvement.

It's what politics has become, purely a popularity contest where political issues are largely irrelevant. Too many people aren't thinking independently, because they simply cannot comprehend most issues or are smitten by the simplicity of red vs blue.

*Looks at avatar* yes, somehow I think you are right...
-
Oh absolutely, but I'm assuming the pendulum swings back at some point, which it historically always does. Question is how big the damage is by that point.
-
They obviously are. They cannot be credited with these inane ideas, opinions and lies themselves. They're being carefully constructed or manipulated. I'm very pessimistic about this and future US and European elections. The targeted dumbing down of people over decades which allows blatant lies, deflections and lack of accountability to go by unnoticed or uncontested is going to take years and years to rectify.

Seems you're criticizing for the sake of it here. How you can criticize the decision for the subs given the impact they had, is just bizarre. Yes, they were beneficial circumstances against 10 men, but it rarely translates into a peppering like the one we saw. I'm no fan of Cooper, but there's worthier things to criticise.

It's so wild how luck can change in the extreme this season. Sainz and Haas last race, complete disaster this race. Alpine having a nightmare season, yet this one result makes up for all of it.
-
Brilliant stuff by Max so far. Incredible to have made up 11 places in less than a quarter of the race.
-
He wasn't as self sacrificing as Okazaki and he had similar strike rate. He was powderpuff in possession too. He was OK at best, save for a couple of outstanding performances during his time with us.
-
He's not very good, but that's a couple of crucial goals scored now. Fair dues.
-
Really? Nothing? He's not solely responsible, obviously, but if he (and his staff) are unable to coach and prepare the players right, then he is ultimately responsible. Our players are not THAT shit.
-
Nah Ferdinand had an unreal strike rate. Basicallly Yakubu but at PL level. Depends what you mean by overreaction. This is just the latest of the now weekly abject displays we're served by Cooper. Nobody wants his head literally, just figuratively We have around 50 mils worth of new signings running on that pitch and they're shipping 4 goals in one half against the worst performing Man Utd team in 35+ years. Why even bother playing the game then if you're just going to roll over? Who benefits from this? At least you'd expect a committed performance with a certain degree of ability. We're Championship champions with a 'PL setup', so why should we accept performance levels that wouldn't be fit for League One?
-
I don't disagree. And so far he is proving that he's not very good. He's saying it, his pedigree and the team's performances are showing it, the fans are voicing it. Being obtuse about it won't earn him respect from the players, fans or ownership. Being honest is probably his best way to postpone the inevitable.
-
It's a bizarre take - that being honest is an admission of not being good. By that logic, Rodgers is a top manager... If Cooper was in denial and deluded, then he would be torn apart with far more vigour by our fanbase.
