You fail to account for performances and opposition. We've probably had the softest run of games to start a PL season and we haven't managed to win once. We will be playing the top sides in the coming months and playing like this, we can't hope for more than a jammy draw like against Spurs. Cooper has to go while we can still right the course.
-
And we've conceded in every game too. What's your point?
-
Young will be subbed off before that happens. Opportunity missed.
-
*Cooper should never have been given a contract

Vestergaard being frozen out despite never being better and our defense still shipping 2 goals a game, is bizarre. Not starting Fatawu and/or Ricardo is suboptimal.
-
If you cannot use Ricardo in any position, then you're not a very good manager honestly. He's such a classy and clever player, especially off the ball, that he has to be able to get a spot in this team. He excelled in that fluid role last year and I wonder how on earth you don't build around that as a manager.

Not really a comfort game, but I do return to World of Tanks every now and then. Then I listen to soundtracks and watch videos of Secret of Mana, Pillars of Eternity, Oblivion/Skyrim & Diablo which scratch that nostalgia itch.

Fatawu and Robinson are joint first and second. The next three are joint third-fifth. The latter two are not in the top 5.
-
Stuff like this should be punished with a goal for the opposition on top of the red card. Would instantly stop this nonsense.
-
Gibraltar excruciatingly close to a win as well. Liechtenstein, who of the microstates have shown most promise IMO over the last decade, managing to scrape a last minute equaliser.
-
They only have two wins. Ever. I remember analysing their results since Denmark's narrow win during the Euro Qs and noticed a drastically improving trend. Signs were there. Good on them.

Another Leicester link there

So very bizarre...

Robert Skov is on a free. He was a pretty hot name a couple of years ago.
-
In this special circumstance, I'd expect Mads to start.

Don't we have plenty of examples of promoted sides throwing money at the PL and either getting relegated or barely surviving? And then getting back up? Surely not a fringe or unlikely scenario. Baffling blind spot in the rules.
-
The point is we knew what we were about to do, the intent was nefarious. Even if the cause or motivation may have been principally righteous, it's still a blot on our book. We were one of the clubs agreeing on the PSR, remember. It's like gamers finding a weird bug in a game and abusing it. They (mostly) know full well it's a bug and should be fixed. In most cases they get reprimanded as well. But to me it just highlights how $hitty all this off-field malarkey is. As Sly put it, it all comes down to a law exercise and finding the best people to manipulate this. If we didn't agree with the intent/spirit of the rules, then we should've done what we could to influence clubs/PL to rewrite it meaningfully. Yeah, that's what counts regarding a PL punishment. It still stinks from a moral perspective and that does mean something to me as a fan.
-
Except we changed the reporting date for our financial year end, probably for that sole purpose. We likely acted nefariously to exploit a loophole which (so far) screwed over the PL and the EFL. Is it our fault the rules were 'buggy'? No, but I can certainly see why it's caused grief among many people. To say we "adhered" to the rule is a bit of a stretch, verging on trolling, when we did manipulate things to our advantage.
-
But Leeds et al could rightly be aggrieved that we've cheated and maintained the chance to go straight back up. Disappointed so many are OK with this and even defending our actions. Yeah, I get the argument that the PSR are themselves lopsided, but we're no better (arguably as bad as or worse) than the clubs that (I presume) the same fans are taking shots at for their supposed cheating, like Everton, Villa, Forest, Chelsea, Man City etc. I know this benefits 'our' club, but does it really not matter how it conducts itself?
