  2. @Beliall Looks solid! Some very good bargains! It's a shame Manganyi is left-footed - it could stunt his contributions on the right. Or maybe not Him and Phiri look like they could shine for you at either wingback position and Rocha will be solid. Great that he's natural on both wings - I'd personally use him at AML cutting inside on his right foot, but it depends on your tactics really. Imperative to focus all on quickness though, it'll make them that much more effective.
  3. You could holiday and see if those players got the right number?
  4. Wait, so your save is dead even when you reload before the crash happened?
  5. I've seen it reported on the Reddit forums, i.e. like here. Will try it this evening.
  6. Gutting, that result against Leverkusen Congrats on finally winning the cup though!
  7. That manager did look familiar!
  8. There's been so many crashes in FM26 and I'm such a slow player already, that I'm terrified of having to do things over
  9. I save so often manually, it's almost a compulsive reflex to do every time I press continue
  10. If you look at it through objective lenses, this is exactly it. How can one possibly argue they should have had 'a chance to get promoted' when they were literally caught cheating ahead of the game that put them in that position? It's so deluded and embarrassing from Southampton. The way the owner then defends his manager and takes a stab at the junior analysts for not speaking up is just disgusting. He can do one.
  11. Surprised at that kind of money being available in SA! That's quite similar wages to Diegem when I got them promoted to the Pro League. But that's a serious transfer kitty/extra wage budget. Best of luck staying up and pushing on! Maybe you will soon be able to offer two- or three-year contracts?
  12. Yeah the FF7 remake doesn't appeal to me. But that's the one on offer. FFX is sadly not on offer here. I'm completely down with pixel and 'weak' graphics. Might consider FF6 or FF8 then.
  13. You've basically completed the game The CL will be a procession soon enough with that squad!
  14. Who's bought the jury?? Insane stuff. The title holders being beaten to the title by relegation candidates and still gets voted manager of the season
  15. O'Malley has great physical, which explains the high interest. A bit of work on his crossing and positioning and he could be a decent fullback or even wingback. Mayo is developing very nicely - I'm liking the stronger arrow on his acceleration Seman may be challenged by his personality and low adaptability. Probably best you sold him and reinvested in South African (continentally) talent, so adaptability becomes less of an issue. FYI, playing youngsters for anything less than 45 minutes will NOT improve their stats. The best effect comes when starting them and playing them at least 45-60 minutes or subbing them on at HT. It seems counterintuitive that giving them 15-20 minutes doesn't work, as that's how clubs blood in youngsters IRL, but that's how FM is built. Best of luck in the playoffs!
  16. Keep us updated on the progress of Seman and Mayo
  17. Can we just acknowledge Norway reaching the semis in the World Cup, emulating Denmark last year? Awesome that we get to see smaller nations (in Ice Hockey terms) upset the world order. Latvia and Germany too. Also a tip of the hat to Switzerland who are maybe the strongest team on average over the last couple of years. Would love to see them finally win their first major tournament at home
  18. Am a big fan of old school Legend of Zelda (Link to the Past) and the Mana games (Secret of Mana and Trials of Mana). Haven't tried Visions of Mana yet, although that's on my to do as well. Loved the music, the flavor/art, the story and even the mechanics, even though it felt janky at times. I think I tried one of the older Final Fantasy SNES games briefly with turnbased combat, which looked fun. Guess I'm looking to capture a bit of the zeitgeist and what made those games so beloved and special.
  19. So with 1-match weeks (assuming Saturdays matches, like you posted), it's pretty simple. The first three weeks of the month you go: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu: Physical, Attacking, Rest Fri: Physical, Attacking, Match focus (forced) Sun: Rest, Rest, Rest The last week you go: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu: Recovery, Rest, Rest Fri: Resistance, Rest, Match Focus (forced) Sun: Rest, Rest, Rest I changed to this schedule between my last two Diegem updates and my players are developing great (i.e. 9+ training ratings and green arrows all around). Match sharpness might become an issue for players that aren't playing, so for your squad players it might be worth arranging friendlies. You don't even need to assign a Position role/Out of Possession role to players, just leave them on their generic position i.e. AM (L). Only assign their specific training focus to "Quickness" (for GKs you can select "Agility & Balance" as quickness is less useful). With high potential ability (PA) players, you can stop focusing on quickness once they-re 15-18 pace depending on your preference and round out their technical/mental skills by focusing those. Either way, Acceleration/Pace are by some distance proven to be the most impactful on performance across all positions (except GK) and it's also weighted the highest in terms of development points, so they will reach their potential quicker. Higher current ability (CA) players will be considered more valuable and should net you some decent transfer revenue. Also, one month running these schedules will not be that effective, but maybe you'll see the same development trends I did and then you can stick to that. If you have high player/squad turnover, it may be worth replacing (or adding) one or two team bonding/tactical familiarity sessions so your performances don't suffer needlessly.
  20. I see GOG have a Square Enix sale going on. I'm ashamed to say I've never played any of the FF games. I seem to recall FF7 being one of the landmark games, but if I was to try one of them, which would the folk in here recommend?
  21. Sorry, just realised it might have come across as unwelcome advice - didn't mean that
  22. The fullback desperately needs pace. If you can place him in a mentoring group with a senior pro with a professional (fairly or better professional, model citizen etc) then he'll reach his potential faster. In fact, since you're limited in scouting knowledge, transfer and wage budget, I'd try to optimize training in your case to get youth players pushing for first XI places and add sales value. You can follow the tips in this thread: In short, each month of training should be scheduled as 3x weeks of 5x physical, 5x attacking and a full rest day after match (assuming 1-match weeks) and 1x week of 4x recovery, 1x resistance with a full rest day after match again and nothing else. To reduce injuries, set the training intensity to Double only when fully fit. The others should all be set to no training so they can fully recover.
  23. @Beliall Some interesting signings. The GK looks pretty solid and your striker should be scoring a lot if you play to his strengths. Seman looks like a decent CB with some potential, but I'd only use him as an emergency LB. The FB/WB positions feel extremely important offensively in this version, and Seman is the pits in that regard. Be sure to add quickness as specific training focus for him and your striker (even your DM) .
