  1. Cant quite comprehend how people don't think this is a disaster window really. It's not inconceivable that KDH could get injured in our next game...then what. Incredibly weak 8s that's what😐
  2. Anyone spinning this into a positive is delusional. The facts are we've got weaker from this window not stronger👍
  3. Out of interest, why do you think he'll be a disappointment as you've not listed any reason other than being negative for negative sake? The kids got a huge ceiling if coached properly, rare to see a young winger play with so much confidence and take on his man without caring. Got loads of time to polish his end product.
  4. Usually says Here We Go before any medical! I reckon he's as fearful as we are that he'll break 5 paces on the treadmill hahah
  5. As close to a Here We Go as we'll get!
  6. I think the fact it's taken so long (albeit frustrating) is actually a good sign. They're well aware of the restrictions and wouldn't push through anything that wouldn't hold up in a court if pushed by P&S.
  7. Tapped in the head you. Watch when he walks and goes to a better project where he smashes it and we get Marsch or Scott Parker. Can't wait to hear your tune then when we're stuck in the championship for years
  8. I've got more reservations over Vestergaard than Faes. With our high line I think Faes recovers fairly quickly but you can't teach pace and I'm imagining Haaland or Nunez running in behind Yannik. Stuff of nightmares!
  9. I think we could lose Souttar or Daka perhaps but think Sensi will fall through. Can see it a mile off. Never sat well with me that we started Sensi talks at the start of the window and its dragged on this long for a £2m deal.
  10. I'm becoming increasingly detached from the match-going fanbase that's unfortunately become a bit of a plague which has spread across all areas. It has got to the point where you feel embarrassed to start a chant or cheer on the boys (albeit which I still do) for fear of being abused for standing up, or shouting next to some old fart with a prawn sarnie. I don't have a solution other than extremely unpopular idea about having uncomfortable conversations to those who sit in silence about potentially doing something else with their day instead. I cannot fathom going to a ground and not making a squeak when a goal goes in but moan incessantly over a backpass. It's becoming tiresome and depressing and with each passing game it gets worse and now clearly Enzo's had enough. We are TEN points clear and dispatching of 90% of the division with ease and scoring lots of goals. Be careful what you wish for!
  11. I don't think you're understanding this footballing economic climate though? You could just as easily argue Romeo Lavia, who was a championship player that finished rock bottom of the PL with Southampton last season, isn't worth close to £60m...yet Chelsea paid that! You could go down a rabbithole of asking the question "what is any player really worth?" yet the market dictates the value, and what's promotion worth to us? 100m? 150m?. KDH is the catalyst to everything we do on the pitch so he's worth to us what we decide, not what Brighton are willing to pay. Either way I'm sure we've scared them off which surely was our intention.
  12. Firstly he's having a FANTASTIC season in the championship as a midfielder might I add and will finish well in double figures for goals and assists. Secondly, have we suffered amnesia or was he very good in his breakout season in the PL after smashing it with Luton the season before? Judging a player based on last season is pointless cause many have proven they aren't complete duds but just part of an anomaly year. Also Brighton, widely regarded as some of/if not the best recruiters in world football rate him extremely highly. Tells you everything you need to know
  13. Stoke couldn't possibly be any worse than when they came to the KP. The most negative brand of football I can remember seeing in a long time. They didn't have a sniff and didn't try to attack us once
  14. Adam Wharton leaving Blackburn Rovers for Crystal Palace. Shame really cause he would have been a nice option in the PL for us had he not been picked up this month!
  15. If it's not overly apparent that the people within the club in charge of negotiations aren't fit for purpose then it'll never be to some. We should be more aggressive with any Italian club about obligations etc. These flimsy options-to-buy clearly aren't working.
  16. It wouldn't be Diallo as he's come out publicly and said he wouldn't want to join anyone other than Sunderland again in the champ but he's part of the plans I think for ETH.
  17. Not sure I'm familiar, at least without appeal which we clearly didn't do as a club.
  18. Just the rules mate when it's a straight red. Nothing out the ordinary.
  19. Have a gander at their fixtures come the back end of the season. It's brutal! Come back to me at the end of the season and if they win all of those, they'll win the league and I'll say fair play they deserve it....can't see it unfortunately though!
  20. Talking like they aren't going to lose another game this season . Do me a favour pal! No one's doing a 38 game unbeaten run when they've still got to play us and Leeds at our grounds.
  21. Pulling the trigger early on a manager would have been the wrong call. Names like Parker, Smith and god forbid Jesse Marsch would have been disastrous. We criticise the decisions at board level a lot (and rightly so) but I'm proud that we landed on Enzo. The bloke just seems to get it, cuts through the bull and has a great relationship with the fans from vids circulating. Adore the bloke!
  22. We've made room in the squad and isn't Sensi only like a 2m Euro bid? I never bought that we needed to sell-to-buy. It doesn't make sense as we've got lots still from the Summer sales! Think it was always a squad size issue.
  23. The loving that Ipswich got after as if they somehow deserved anything from that game was laughable to me! Commentators were almost willing them to score. I concede that we were asking for trouble as it was carbon copy of the way the game at Portman Rd played out but we were the architects of our own downfall and first half we showed a complete class above. In reality they didn't touch us until we took the foot off. All it needed was us to take one other chance for 2-0 and there was zero comeback from them. Such a shame we didn't learn from the away game.
  24. Quite frustrating if true because we're light and he needs time to bed in!
  25. He's a below average footballer that's too lightweight and I can guarantee we won't make his loan permanent. Add it to the list of failed RW options. Thankfully Abdul is a proper gem!
