Yet our club will probably keep wasting money on clappers. It's never not frustrating to look around at what other clubs are doing compared to LCFC.
-
I've often thought it was surprising the club even decided to allow the SK1 section in the first place, as it seems to go against what they want home matches to be like. Well aware though it took years and years of lobbying, and of course the problem now is the reluctance to expand that area. If the club are unwilling to do that, there's surely next to no chance of them doing the same as Southampton with a whole stand.

Despite our current situation, it still feels like the club would go for style over pragmatism. I think in the main, this is why people wouldn't be gutted if Enzo left because there are doubts as to whether he would be pragmatic enough next season. Of course would prefer him to stay but even if he does, all this speculation will hardly be an ideal start to pre-season.

I think it comes back to the configuration of the ground. The section would likely be that whole corner if it was the only place for standing fans to gather, but there’s obviously L1 and P blocks as well as those who stand at the back between SK1-SK4.

Foxes Trust Reform - show your support!
FoxesTalker replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
Probably first and foremost, the Trust needs to become more in line with the size of the club and fanbase. In terms of its standing, the Trust is way behind where it needs to be and this is even clearer when compared to other clubs. The relationship with the club needs to change, a prime example of this was the access to Seagrave for the AGM which irked me. Let's be honest, the club would never open up this opportunity for Union FS and that says a lot in itself. It also seems the culture within the Trust needs to change, and long-term members/those on the board level must surely understand that if the fanbase was being represented well enough, there wouldn't have been such a movement already. I've said before that amongst all the other concerns surrounding the club, a key area which needs addressing is our reputation and this is one of the main reasons for my decision to join. We're arguably the most ridiculed club in the Midlands and I can't stand that, but I would suggest senior members of the Trust wouldn't see it this way. In fairness, not enough of the fanbase do either for my liking. -
Make that 3:55. At this point, it leads you to think there’s some sort of system error.

It’s now midday and still can’t even join the queue.

The club not offering an online option for relocation is an annoyance, especially with no in-person ticket office either.
-
It’s just worth noting there are two addresses for LCFC Help, so it might be that original email didn’t reach them. [email protected] seems to be the active one, this is clearly not ideal from the club as it causes confusion.

This link is on the other thread but thought it might be worth sharing here too. https://www.lcfc.com/galleries/3996863/in-photos-what-a-weekend?lang=en

Blackburn (H) A day to remember on Filbert Way

It's worth a look through these, high resolution as well. https://www.lcfc.com/galleries/3996863/in-photos-what-a-weekend?lang=en https://www.lcfc.com/galleries/3994032/leicester-city-0-blackburn-rovers-2?lang=en -
For every person who hurls abuse during the Tifo displays, hopefully the group can take solace in the amount that do support them. This thread for example shows that.

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff
FoxesTalker replied to davieG's topic in General Chat
This is always an interesting thread, and as a side note to this, really like how Union FS champion/promote Leicester culture. -
Feels to me sometimes like the home atmosphere, despite its reputation over the years, actually has a lot of unlocked potential. This is why I still maintain if the stadium was configured differently, nights like Tuesday wouldn't be as few and far between. At the same time though, can definitely see all sides to the argument over the placement of fans. In the future, if the SK1 section is to be the designated place for safe standing, can only hope by then the club will have expanded it. Support for a bigger section is there, and it's only going to get stronger after atmospheres like Tuesday. As a side note it's a shame that the ground never seems to come through well on TV coverage, clappers of course the main reason for that.

To be honest I would side with @Bergen fox here, as generally speaking being close to the away fans adds an extra edge. Union FS seem to emphasise the point about the banter/gesturing, but that's only one side to it. There's no signs of the SK1 section expanding anytime soon and unless the club follow what Southampton have done, it's unlikely to ever become one whole stand. So with that in mind, surely it's about maximising the configuration as it is especially with no timeline on the expansion. Granted, the club probably wouldn't facilitate any relocation of fans anyway, but there's clearly a level of support for the notion that the section could be more effective in a different place.

No changes next season then in terms of expansion or location. https://www.lcfc.com/news/3975832/season-tickets-all-the-info-you-need?lang=en

I noticed that myself particularly on Monday, along with the lack of engagement in Fan Cam.

I've also joined to add to the growing number. This will surely only make the Trust a stronger force for change, and we need to use this time to also work towards restoring some pride in the club's reputation.

Not sure if the first post is entirely serious but I’m not expecting this game to be straightforward by any means. Norwich was a much needed win, but it doesn’t just negate from the downfall. That is why I don’t yet share the same confidence going into this one. Given the stage of the season and what’s at stake in the league, it’s likely all seven of the remaining games will be tight.

Remembering When LCFC Moved From Filbert Street

It's obviously well known how close Filbert Street was to the current site, but this is one of those images which really puts it into perspective. -

This is the sort of game we’ll lose, but hopefully we can build on the four points from Sunderland and Hull away. Not very confident but there’s needs to be a turnaround in performances/results to avoid slipping into the play-offs. That being said, Chelsea was encouraging to an extent.
