  1. Thought Ian White gave a good account against Littler. Missed a few pivotal doubles. Too early to call the tournament but my money is still on Humphries.
  2. Searle out - thought he could have gone deeper in the tournament. Seems like he just needs to take it up a notch to get to the next level, like De Dekker has this year.
  3. I always wonder if some of the players who hit 9's struggle to maintain the levels after the celebrations. Heta was a prime example then, was 3-1 up and blew it. Shame as I thought he had a chance with the Premier League this year, that does need freshening up with players like Heta.
  4. I'd love to be overly negative, but I can't be tonight. Liverpool are arguably the best team in world football at the moment, and for 40 minutes we were winning. I will say that prior to additional time being added I thought we looked relatively well organised and set up. There was a mistake before their first goal, someone jumped in and they missed a chance which seemed to ruin the composure, then Gakpo scored. Mavididi despite what some are saying online did well. He was an outlet at times and carried the ball well, causing a few problems. He was never going to rip his fullback to bits tonight as we had little of the ball. Daka did well with what he could do. He had a hard job today, yes he had that chance but I thought he did okay. Soumare showed touches of class again, Winks looked good. Stolarcyzk had a good game too, and I do feel that he'll be our first choice keeper next season. There are a few glaring issues still. James Justin is a shadow of his former self and looks a liability. Ayew despite the goal won a few free kicks but in a vital area of the pitch where we needed someone to run the ball out he did little. We could have troubled Liverpool down the other flank say if we had Fatawu. We all expected to be smashed by at least a 5 goal cushion tonight, so the fact it was tight for a while and we led for a large part of the game must be a positive. I still think we are doomed though. Conceding far too many goals whatever the opposition. (10 in 3 games)
  5. Remember Top wanted Ruud...
  6. Clicked on prime and they're calling it the Emile Heskey derby...
  7. I'll go early. RUUD OUT. RUDKIN AND TOP OUT.
  8. I know. It's a disgrace. Picking Ayew who looks old, disinterested and lazy over Bounanotte, Reid or even McAteer. I hate to say it but I think I'm Ruud out already with these team selections. Walking down to the ground the other day when the team came out you knew we were beat before a ball was kicked. It's worse than Cooper. Yeah Ruud's at fault but you've got to look towards Top here who clearly was obsessed with having Ruud in over an experienced head.
  9. The selection of Jordan Ayew shows me Ruud doesn't know what he's doing. Out of his depth. Incompetent.
  10. Inspection at 4pm.
  11. Unreal evening. Ricky Evans smashed it. What a legend. Goldfinger getting the job done too earlier.
  12. A ruud awakening to how incompentent the recruitment process was for a new manager. Should have been Moyes.
  13. There was no fight, no desire, no tactics and no clue. It made Steve Cooper's tenure look relatively effective. The team selection was a disgrace from the start. Ward, Ayew, Skipp. Should have been Iversen, Bounanotte, Winks. I think Ruud's coming across clueless. Even from the touchline there was no direction. Coady came over for a chat with him about 50 minutes and showed more managerial prowess than him. Just utter disgrace.
  14. Reminds me of the Sven days. Brought into the club because of his name, bizarre team selections, tactics all over the shop. We're just waiting for the left-field transfers coming in. Expecting Darius Vassell and Gelson Fernandes to make a shock return to the club.
  15. Like I said in the week. If someone works for me and displays that much gross incompetence in their performance and makes so many mistakes. I terminate their contract. But then again, shouldn't some blame fall upon me for hiring them in the first place?
  16. I do agree. Doesn't do someone any favours especially whilst he's still on the pitch. For all the criticism the frustration should be directed towards the clubs hierarchy.
  17. Disgrace that the admins listen to this. But they're after their ad revenue (don't know if you've noticed the increasing ads over the years) and positive PR with the club.
  18. Regarding assets that aren't sellable. None of our players progress or get better. They go backwards. Prospects like Braybrooke and Alves nowhere near the squad for seasons. The players go backwards at Seagrave. The club have no effective coaches that develop players. Hence the PSR problems.
  19. Honestly mate, I don't know if you heard it but they were not heaping any blame on the keeper. Almost protecting him to not risk their relationship with the club. Very suspicious. It is a shambles. No wonder people don't pay their license fee if this is the shit that the BBC churn out.
  20. The disgraceful punditry at the end of the game on BBC Radio Leicester was abysmal. Piper defending Ward. For the first goal he dived over the ball. How you can't blame him for the second is beyond me as he was sat on his arse. Third one went through his hand like his fingers were made of Lurpak. The bloke is not fit enough to wear the shirt and hasn't been since his first game here. He cost us relegation along with Rodgers' persistence to play him. The fact Iversen didn't start was a disgrace and one Ruud must be held accountable for. I said to my mate before the game when the team was announced that because Ward was starting it wasn't worth going down. Fair play to those voicing their discontent in the ground but it should really be directed at the hierarchy of the club.
  21. Couldn't agree more. Years of incompetence. The Ruud appointment for me was a strange one when managers like Moyes could have been coaxed to the job. Strange decisions such as the Vestegaard contract too. It's time Top sold the club and took his band of no-hopers and clowns with him. (Rudkin and Whelan included)
  22. What did we expect? Cooper had more valuable Premier League experience than Ruud. He has to take a HUGE portion of the blame today. His team selection was terrible. Danny Ward should never have put the shirt on for the past two seasons. Even Iversen is twice the keeper and he was sat on the bench. Ayew over Buonanotte? Embarrasing. A lot of you turned your noses up at Moyes, but there is no way the team would have showed that level of effort, desire and cluelessness. What is Ruud doing at training? No style of play/system again.
  23. Drop the Mercury a message. I would. They'd love to run a story like this.
  24. What gets me is why aren't the players fuming with him or angry at him? If I had someone work alongside me who constantly let the team down, cost us money and standing then I'd be raging. He's incompetent.
