  1. Glad to see they took my suggestion of the fee being a charitable donation onboard. However I do believe this should be linked to local community charities such as the Hospitals, not necessarily one linked to the club which is used at times to promote a better image of those at board level...
  2. The first game of the season against cov set the precedent about the league's strikers missing chances...
  3. There we have it. Champions again! Just before the final curtain comes down on a huge achievement which at times looked in doubt, it's time to consider what we will miss about the Championship. I'm interested to see what you guys will miss from the Championship next season? Here's my list: 1) No VAR 2) Incompetent Referees that aren't backed up by more incompetent video referees sat in a mobile classroom in Stockley park. 3) No crap corporate music before kick off. 4) Some visits to humble grounds. (Preston last night was a great example, great fans, decent people and no glory fans) Over to you!
  4. Mad isn't it. The women look class and make an effort, the lads look like they've just got out of bed.
  5. Lets put out the strongest side, bring a couple of the youth players on later. Is the concern that now we're up we'll lose this, but we want the title.
  6. One more year. Just one.
  7. Classy of Farke congratulating us.
  8. It's a good one. Been a rollercoaster few months, but we finally came good. It's a Leicester promotion if there was ever one. Losing against Plymouth and Millwall then smashing the in form Southampton.
  9. Get to Half time QPR.
  10. DONT SIT DOWN CAUSE ILIAS CHAIR!!!
  11. Tickets bought Tuesday came today via post.
  12. Came across great in Allardyce's podcast. Thoroughly enjoyed listen.
  13. Quorn Barrow Northampton Burton Albion Notts County Pre Season Barn Burner against Derby at the KP.
  14. Going to be honest, there were so many different ways the club could have done this to have made it a little bit more bearable. Yeah none of us want to pay £25 but if the club wanted to impose such a rule, they could have made it more pleasing on the eye rather than pure profiteering. Possible options I've come up with, and I don't get paid thousands of pounds a year to make such decisions: 1) The club could have made the £25 fee something that is donated 100% to charities, such as the Leicestershire Hospitals charities that the club have worked with in the past. This would have made it more acceptable to pay and more fans would have been on side. 2) Not have lied regarding the eco-friendly reasons for axing cards for everyone. Be honest about it. Be honest about the fact there are a select few who give tickets to those with banning orders who circumvent their bans. This is literally a handful of supporters and the rest are being punished. This has been one of the most frustrating parts of the whole process. Even a senior employee of the club admitted it's a control issue, as I saw through straight away. The club hierarchy take the supporters as idiots on a regular basis. It's almost like the hierarchy consider us to be oblivious to problems as long as they give out a free can of Chang 2 hours before the game kicks off. It's not long ago that Leicester were seen as the beacon of Football ownership, now a lot of us think it's time for King Power to move on and get people in who are more in touch. 3) Eco-friendly cards. Organisations such as English Heritage and National Trust with their membership cards use a paper based card. These use a QR code printed on the ticket. Using this would have been the way to go initially if they wanted to go down this route. 4) Come up with some form of incentive system for people to pay the fee. Vouchers sent through the post along with the card for a drink at the first game of the season. 5) Consult Supporters Groups first months ago, and then come together on some form of compromise on the issue. The fact this just came out of the woodwork is laughable, and £25 has been suggested as the fee as it puts it at not tolerable. 6) Introduce the £25 fee onto Season Ticket prices BEFORE the rise in cost. The cost of a season card for the club cannot be more than £5 to produce. They could have concealed the £25 fee inside of the Season ticket price and we would not have moaned. You could then had an option for people who wanted to get their mobile season ticket and get a ST for £25 less than those who wanted the card. Rather than a separate fee incorporate it. All in all, it's just very disappointing isn't it. From a business perspective it is pure PR disaster and nightmare, especially now the local papers have picked up on this.
  15. I've always believed that we should have some sort of committee on here that get together as a supporters club. Foxestalk is without a doubt the largest collective of fans online of our club. We could do something great. (Happy to come up with something and help plan it if it got some sort of backing)
  16. What Jim admitted with that email is that the charge as we all thought was brought forward for control and for literally no reason as outlined in the initial post about eco-friendly reasons. He's just dropped the club right in it there with that email showing it is only brought in as the club 'wish' to go digital. What about the wishes of the fans? What about the accessibility of the fans? I'll be honest, for someone who does not want to disclose their disability (ASD - high functioning as it was called when I was diagnosed) with the club and neither do I see much need to, e-ticketing last year made me anxious before I had my Season Ticket. I went to every home game last season and was forced to have an e-ticket. I spent a few slightly anxious minutes before walking through the turnstiles each game thinking 'what happens if this e-ticket doesn't work, will the huge queues behind me get pissed off, and it'll probably make me feel terrible if it doesn't work.' I got my ST back this season after 8 seasons away due to University and other work reasons, and having the card has meant the worry hasn't been there all season. @davieG It's ironic they wanted to speak to you about this mate, wonder if they realise your status on here as an Admin.
  17. I remember that very well. Still leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I also remember Birch recommending Pearson for the job the second time around. (Could one say he put the foundations in for us to win the Prem?)
  18. Definitely agree - the departure from this way of thinking at the club is what has plagued us financially. (Tielemans, Soyuncu)
  19. Happy to also confirm this that they've even made some hirings over the past week. Friend of mine has got a job as a receptionist in the past few weeks.
  20. I do think Ric Flair is a shout. Pint in hand, dirty IBS inducing Kebab in the other all whilst he's trying to scream into a microphone.
  21. Friday - after the past 2/3 months I think it's time to consider that the sooner things are decided the better.
  22. Fantastic, cheers mate.
  23. Is that Sainsburys car park legit good for match day? Have booked.
