  1. Doesn't matter if you identify as a fridge freezer, if you've qualified through the correct means you get a game at the World Champs.
  2. Cunha charged. Has until Thurs to comment, but will likely get a hefty suspension.
  3. Our season won't be defined against teams like Newcastle away. It'll be what we do at home against teams like Wolves next week.
  4. Mavididi has games where he looks unreal, and other games where he looks like a poor mans Dany N'Guessan.
  5. Hamza and Skipp.
  6. Yeah, Cartwright is a CM, Alves a winger. Definitely the right decision based on squad depth. Expecting Alves to get minutes against QPR.
  7. I was surprised to see him get called back into the first team initially, but against West Ham he was effective on the counter and got an assist. Not bad for a lad who's still learning to get up to speed with the Prem.
  8. Have thought the criticism of McAteer has been rather harsh. Lads played well when he came in. First half vs Brighton he looked like the most attacking player. Against fullbacks who push on he'll be more effective than Bounanotte.
  9. On a Podcast a while ago with Big Sam, he mentioned he had a neurological issue that needed rehab. Glad he's on the way up. Such a lovely bloke, and a hero to many of us.
  10. Missed the Villa game as my wife was giving birth. I'm sure whoever sifted through the responses enjoyed the close up picture of my Missus' smashed up nether regions. Won't be long before they introduce a minimum game requirement else you lose the ST.
  11. No denying that with Cooper in charge we would have lost that game, probably even heavier than 2-0. He proper went for it with his subs too, throwing any attacking player on and up, deciding to leave Vardy on.
  12. 'I know my right to block a stairway and impede the view of other supporters, and will exercise that right.'
  13. We found this a little bit under Enzo, the style of play at times didn't breed a verciferous atmosphere.
  14. 100%. I never have this issue as I sit at the back, but those people who congregate in the concrete entrance and stand there to watch the last 5-10 mins. Why are Stewards not pushing them back to their seats?
  15. Plan your route home better. E.g if you're going back to town where you've parked, go by the canal towards DMU, through the uni, up towards Mosh and round to Highcross that way past the underpass. Can save 10-15 mins. Either that or park in a more accessible place to get out. Why bother going if you're going to miss 15-20 mins of the game? Enjoy the day out people, get some fresh air and enjoy it.
  16. Ayew couldn't even be arsed to walk around the corner flag when he came off earlier. Straight across the field of play whilst the games going on.
  17. Thought McAteer looked half decent today. Was certainly our most threatening player. Not sure what the aggro is about, but I suppose people slagged Barnes off rotten. Nothing else to say than we robbed a point, and I'm absolutely loving it.
  18. Saw people going at 70. Come on people, it costs a fortune to support city now. You might aswell get the feeling of the plastic on your bum for a few more minutes. Get your moneys worth.
  19. Decision to push him further up the pitch 30 mins in was a life saver.
  20. I imagine the transfer dealing will go something like this. John Rudkin: 'Right lets sign Banzuzi from Leuven.' *Rings up the director of football at Leuven, phone rings to his mobile in his pocket) Rudkin then proceeds to have a 30 minute conversation not realising he's talking to himself before deciding it's too expensive to proceed with the transfer as he's spending too much on agent fees.
  21. Strange panic loan at the time that I think shows how disorganised Cooper and Rudkin were and how it became a case of just 'get anyone in' regardless of skill or class. With Daka back he's very much surplus to requirements.
  22. Hoping the wind dies down a bit. It's forecast to about kick off time just to make sure. I'm expecting a similar game to Tuesday night, counter effectively.
  23. Have just seen the great man come out of a chip shop in that full norovirus green training kit. Can confirm that training kit is as hideous as images show.
  24. Slightly concerned about tonight. Since Ruud came to the club he's appeared shell-shocked to me. No coaching staff in yet, and he's one man against a group of players who think they're big time. I think we'll see more on Sunday against Brighton.
  25. Roads opened around the incident. All good for the game. Nothing to be concerned about. Will possibly just be a closure in the nearby area of the fire. (Might have to change your route to the ground)
