Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
Skidmark replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
A football club should be a pillar of the community. Doing everything they can to make football accessible for anyone, regardless of their financial situation. The £25 is a slap in the face for many, and it is all about control based. I'd personally like to see some justification on this from the club. Where is the evidence regarding eco-friendly? Even the National Trust/English Heritage now use cards that are paper based and they use a QR code on them. If they wanted to go this way then they could if it was about being eco-friendly. It's all to track who is inside the ground and that people are not giving tickets to others. -
Having to stumble out of a stuffy tent to walk 2 miles to take a shite in a portaloo is not living the dream. Neither is having a shower and the water level slowly rising because of all the pubes blocked up in it.

Half that Coventry team that played today, sign em up. Even Mark Robins when Enzo gets the call from sunny Sevilla. -

2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
Skidmark replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
From the Foxes Trust statement: Very interesting regarding the number of ST holders actually using e-ticketing. "Only around 1600 season ticket holders chose to go digital last season; a clear indication the vast majority of season ticket holders do not want to go digital, and in addition there have been a number of glitches with the digital ticket system this season."- 539 replies

Admittedly the £25 doesn't go far for the club, so it is all about controlling the passing of ST cards to others. Say 10,000 ST holders take up that offer, that's an extra £250,000 for the club. It'll be the food prices getting hiked up next, as well as all other match day expenses which people will somehow happily pay. If you buy some food and a pint at the ground every game you'll probably pay the same price as the cheapest ST over the course of the season.

We all know that the real implementation of this £25 is to prevent people passing the card to other people. That's it. Nothing eco-friendly about it. If they wanted to be a bit eco-friendly go back to the paper system with the old booklets and the numbers. (It's recyclable a bit like those paper clappers)

2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
Skidmark replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
So those on the Direct Debit - we have to do nothing at all? It's all done automatically? (Sorry first year ST on the direct debit, apologies it it's a noob question. -
Yeah i'll pay to keep it. The amount of people you see throwing money down on £60 shirts and un-necessary stuff on a match day is mad. It's the price of a less than 4 pints in the ground.

I agree with this. I even loved the old days with the booklet, getting to the ground and seeing the number for the match. I can see why the club want to move to it, but it is a bit daft to charge the £25. -
The tactics today were bizarre. The defensive set up was strange. At times it was like watching old Leicester play.

I won't admit it. I said it at the start of the season and have said it throughout, got chastised and vitriol directed towards me. Deleted my account because of it. (15 yrs of FT down the swanny) We had flattered to deceive all season, and those who had Enzo tinted glasses could not see it. He is an unproven coach, who is all in on a philosophy and is inept to come up with a plan B. The most effective we've played all season we deployed more counter attacking styles, such as Blackburn away. Watching home games all season has been like watching dyslexics play scrabble. Time consuming, incredibly frustrating and completely turgid.

He's over-rated and plays pedestrian ineffective football. We'd be lucky if he left in summer, even if we went up.
