  1. I'd honestly back myself for this. When Meslier came onto the scene, he was incredibly highly rated by Leeds fans. Then spent most of the end of the season when they were in the Prem picking the ball out the back of the net. Hermansen had a few good saves this season against high profile teams, but in the games that's mattered he's been nowhere. He's a player we should 100% cash in on, rip another team off for a decent whack of money and use Stolarcyzk.
  2. Meslier 2.0
  3. I was only jesting. I've been in town earlier and did consciously look for bin men and thought 'I wonder if it's that intern.'
  4. Put a proper structure in place at the top underneath top. It's that simple. Choose football minded people, ship out those responsible for farces like Rudkin and Whelan.
  5. Best thread for a while on here.
  6. I'd love Big Ange here. Bloke's a straight-shooter.
  7. Agree that he's not good enough for the Prem. I think a season in the Champ like KDH and he'll smash it and would be necessary in his development. Could even get some money for him.
  8. I think Kristiansen's fate is the funniest. He has the best season of his career, smashing it in Italy sandwiched between two relegations.
  9. Thank you. There's more stories of me defecating in unexpected places and getting into trouble. But that's for another thread.
  10. A very close family once put up a projector inside a palatial home, and it fell and slashed a 17th century painting of King Charles I. He wasn't sacked but was informed that 'it's a good job the paintings are insured as that one was worth around £12 million.'
  11. That is psychopath stuff that. The worst thing I've ever done at work - I had a poo in a disabled toilet as it had a better flush than the staff toilets, a proper huge beastly thing got deposited in there. Instead of pulling the chain, I accidentally pulled the red triangle. Headteacher runs towards the toilet knocking on the door, shouting 'Is everything okay? Are you okay in there?' I had to put a fake voice on. He left and I ran out of there. No doubt he checked the CCTV after to see who the culprit was. Yes I'm a teacher.
  12. I always remember a few seasons ago near the SEAT garage, last home game. Some bloke about 30 stone getting popped on the nose by a chap who was genuinely about 4 foot 6.
  13. Double them up, chocolate on chocolate and munch. Even better with the caramel ones.
  14. The Jamie Vardy West Stand. Has a great ring to it.
  15. Anyone else thinking he's here next season and the Vardy decision compounds that. Who better to attract a new striker to the club?
  16. We knew it was coming, but it's been a real sh*t week hasn't it.
  17. The greatest player in our History. I remember his first game and thought.... '1 million quid? What have we brought?' A story which no-one will ever come close to emulating. A hero to thousands of young kids.
  18. I backed Winks previously about the situation about not staying in hotels, but I think he's been exposed for what he truly is, especially with missing the game we got relegated. Against club policy to turn up to all games. Even Wesley Fofana did that when he wanted out, I remember it was a night game. I'd back Van Nistelrooy on it. Freezing him out and keeping him training with the kids is the right course.
  19. I think the decision not to put a break clause in the contract speaks volumes. With the club staring down the barrel of relegation, I think it shows that he was seen as a long term appointment. He's here for the foreseeable.
  20. Dyche is everything this club needs. Robust no-nonsense individual who won't take any rubbish from players e.g. Winks, Coady, Vardy. Not afraid to cut the wage bill and move on players who are tosh. A shrewd operator who can get the best out of his team. Can build strong teams that have previous in staying up in the Premier League. (It's what we need) Lives local. It might not be what the fans want, but it's exactly what the club need. I worked with a bloke who knew him at school, and he said he was a sh*thouse back in the day not to be messed with.
  21. Is there any justification for keeping him? A squad not of his making. Some glimpses of decent football in the past few weeks. Having a pair to be able to get rid of Vardy, Winks, Ndidi etc. Will attract significant talent to the club because of his status, more so than Martin and Röhl. Has previous working with young players. Would cost too much to get rid of him. He's been able to analyse the squad since December and is in the best position to sort out who stays and who leaves. Can deal with tricky situations e.g. Winks. I'm not saying I'd want him here, but I see a few reasons why it might be in our best interests to keep him. A season in the Championship may be the making of a good coach.
  22. Glad to see the Foxes Trust taking a necessary much harder line. Well done.
  23. Tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled. It'll either be the corner flag, or him stood there with a whistle around his neck.
