Rather than job share why not just give Chapman MOTD and Sommers MOTD2?

Our back up centre has been put on his arse on several field goals this season but has got away with it. Absolutely joke turning a 95% positive play into a negative one. On the plus side, that final drive was exactly what you want against the chiefs - don't make mistakes and control the clock to keep the ball away from Mahomes.

That was an unreal ending, a terrible loss for the Bears. What a great night of entertainment all round though even if the end of the early games was a bit overwhelming

Proper good toys out of the pram comment as it doesn't really make any logical sense either. Budgets are so big even in the bottom half of the premier league that surely Jose would back himself to get his side to challenge for Europe...so would he just quit at the end of the season?

No Ipswich either to be fair, we were definitely under more pressure in the last third of the season than Burnley were. We should still have got more points than them though...

Took my son to the London game on Sunday, we really enjoyed it. I went to one at Spurs last year and much preferred the experience at Wembley although maybe that was because we were in the lower tier rather than the upper tier. The 96 yard punt return was awesome to watch live, Doug Pederson not being able to do Maths was pretty shocking. Tank Bigsby and Drake Maye where the highlights. The Patriots kind of suck now but with a good draft position look in a good position to turn it around to me, especially with the futures of the Dolphins and Jets looking pretty bleak.

I didn't watch the Bills game but watched the Broncos and Vikings games and Rodgers looked more likely to pick up another injury than throw a touchdown. Plus this is the Jets, so surely the outcome here is Rodgers/Adams looks great for one or two games and then Rodgers gets injured again because they can't protect him still. Might be a good idea to go all in but at 2-4 they need to go 8-3 the rest of the season to earn a wildcard spot and there are other AFC teams who will likely win their divisions and look miles better than the Jets in the Bills, Texans, Ravens, the (somewhat) lucky Chiefs. Love the Cooper trade though - not much given up, Cleveland have paid his salary and he gets to go from the barmy Browns situation to a perenial contender who are desperate for a player like him.

He would be a massive upgrade for the 49ers at DC, that's a good shout

Salah fired by the Jets. He's not a good head coach but I'm not sure what that achieves as their defense has still been decent and Hackett/Rodgers are remain in charge of the offense. Hard to see anything other than Rodgers retiring at the end of the season and the Jets rebuilding.

When the highlights used to be on Channel 4 John Elway was doing crazy stuff so the Broncos were always the team I would select on the 90's Madden games. Always watched the super bowls but didn't get properly into the sport until 2011 which was the miracle Tebow season with all the crazy comebacks and Von Miller being awesome. They dumped Tim and Peyton Manning joined the following season and he is probably my favourite non-Leicester City sports person ever so seemed natural to keep following them. We have been frustrating the past few years so hoping for some success again soon!

What success have Brighton actually had though other than winning the recruitment title? They are walking a tightrope that is very difficult, one which we took a different but more successful approach to before we well off. Maybe because it is under the current FFP rules but they are the first to make no effort at all to keep their players. We have seen clubs have a spell of strong recruitment before but it almost never lasts so it will be interesting to see how long they can keep restocking the shelves. -

Shame vardy didn't put us two up before half time. For most of the second we looked like a team terrified of throwing away a lead and didn't really try to push for a second. It was a nervy watch at the end and the players looked just as nervous as those in the stands. Hopefully the result gives them some more confidence. -
I think you might have hit the nail on the head here for me, the snobbery in football now is 100% one of the worst things that have crept into the game. Apparently everything outside the top six is crap even though most of those players are desperate to play and are trying their absolute best. We moan about all the bad things that come along with the premier league but then also look down on the have not's as well. I found our support very off putting last season because of this attitude towards the rest of the championship, despite the fact that we have been a second tier side for a lot of our existence.

Oddly enough I went to watch Rochdale a few weeks ago in the National league - they conceded a goal trying to play out from the back passing it straight to an attacker and another playing a high line and the two CB's crashing into each other so not even that level is safe from it now. I get your point about that goal but could also post tonnes of recent goals and point out how strange they would look to a 2011 viewer. Yes both of these are mistakes, but those mistakes happened because of choices to set teams up in a way which encourages them. Eleven midfielders is pretty much proven now to be the best way to achieve success and you are right that this results in better but just rarely seem to fancy watching it.
-
I don't get this, I think the premier league is borderline unwatchable now.

Rule changes, over exposure, money, worsening live experience and tactical developments have all contributed to my declining interest in the game. Agree that their is a lack of personality around the game currently, it all feels so corporate now. When it comes to Leicester the biggest factor is probably the title win. 1) as I know that I will never see a season that great ever again (I'm ok with this) and 2) it has completely changed the perception of the club both externally and from our own support.
-
What will buy him time is that all of these games have been close. I think they'll only consider it if we start losing by two or more goals several games in a row fairly soon. I've not been impressed and highly doubt he will turn it around but something really drastic has to go wrong to get the boot after five games so we are likely stuck with him for a while longer.
-
That's first coach fired sorted then.
-
Why do you think this is? You are right that it has been going on for absolutely ages.
-
Agree, he had so much hype but he is too quick to go off script currently and doesn't look special so far. Bo Nix was really good today after struggling so far but still hasn't thrown a TD pass. Jayden Daniels looks like he is going to get injured in every game but is a good runner. I suppose it comes down to it being really hard and very few players come in and light it up straight away. No point making decisions until at least one season

The NFL have to step in at this point, help Tua and prevent something really awful happening.

Conspiracy theory here but I am not sure Hikaru was trying all that hard against Alireza. The opportunity to clown Hans Niemann face to face, in front of the crowd, was too much for him to miss out on and he knew there was no way Hans was going to win in the semi. What Magnus and Hikaru did to Hans on back to back days was savage.

Rodgers still hasn't played a full game for the Jets
