  1. Charlton have not conceded a goal yet and have 4 points and a very impressive draw at Bristol City who had just beat Sheff Utd 4-1. If we play like we have done in the 3 games so far we will lose.
  2. Sell him and mcateer for a combined approx 20m will the best business the club's ever done. Besiktas obviously have the Turkish equivalent of Rudkin in charge of transfers. Ndidi and now this, perfect day so far. Now all we need is Kirby Muxloe to come in with a double swoop for Soumare and Skipp.
  3. Yeah I agree, it's all relative. The Filbert street days, my first few seasons were magical, Matt Elliott, Tony Cottee, Muzzy Izzet, Gerry Taggart, Arnar Gunnlaugsson, Wembley finals, winning at Anfield, Old Trafford, such brilliant times. An actual team you lived and could support because they always gave 100%. There was no sulking or half arsed jogging around like now. The Pearson era was every similar. We aced league one and he brought the club and fans together again. Then the second season as underdogs we stylishly made the play offs and were almost at Wembley. Then his second spell was genius, and paved the way for the title and what came after. Always made brilliant signings, just like O neill. Lloyd Dyer, Jack Hobbs, Richie Wellens, Nolberto Solano, Wes Morgan, Vardy, Mahrez, Knockaert, Drinkwater, Albrighton, the list is endless. Amazing eras and I'm just glad I saw it all.
  4. Don't forget Martin O Neill though. He took us to the prem and kept us there in the top half for 4 years on a shoestring and won 2 Cup finals. But I totally agree, an absolute living God of a man, I sang one nigel Pearson louder than anything else in the Ipswich game and all our modern success is down to him and his signings. We could have rotted in league one for years if it wasn't for him.
  5. Him and Martin O Neill should have statues, freedom of the city and they have a place in my heart forever, as the two most memorable eras of Lcfc history. Nigel saved us from the abyss in style, created a team everyone loved who worked hard and had quality. Then after Sven had fvcked up the team and spent a fortune he came back sorted us out again and signed the majority of the title winning team for peanuts. A living God.
  6. Richarlison is a pure CF and has started the season on fire, why give him away to get Eze? When Madders is fit they will have two number 10s. I get maybe Frank wants his boy Wissa, but just seems odd to me.
  7. If and it's a big if we signed the likes of Rego and Brownhill then fair play but if we don't buy, or we just sign some waste of time (coulibaly) and of Fatawu gets sold late in the day, the atmosphere at the club will turn from toxic to dangerous.
  8. Exactly the point, yes. Some people can't get their head around people being different from them. Not everyone wants to shout and call every player who misplaces a pass a cvnt. I go swimming at the gym and there's people who are just walking up and down the pool or sitting in the pool having a chat and they're fully entitled and allowed to do so, bit like people can buy a ticket and go to the football and sit down and be fairly quiet and innocent if that's what they like doing.
  9. What? Everyone's different, we don't all shout vitriol and angrily. I mean I do, but I accept people especially older people don't necessarily react the same way. If they didn't care they wouldnt go.
  10. 10 years??? Most of the supporters club coach have been going for 40 or 50 years. I'm not on anyone's side here, but just because they aren't jumping up and down shouting swear words doesn't mean they aren't fans, I mean they spend their money and travel everywhere following the club and care just as much if not more than anyone else. Are people saying there's an age limit now on away games? I'd rather sit near them then the plums who spend the whole game looking and gesturing at the opposing fans acting hard.
  11. We are already shit
  12. I wil join you
  13. At least he runs all game and trys his heart out for his hometown club which i can get behind a lot more than the likes of Faes, Winks or Soumare. But yeah the sentiment stands, if Fatawu and BEK are both sold, the atmosphere v Brum will be toxic, especially when we go 3-0 down. I knew I shouldn't have renewed my season ticket.
  14. Who is Fatawo? Clearly they've spent big and looks like very well. Xhaka is proven quality, Diarra looks very good Adingra is a prem player, Reinaldo looks good, I think they have just as much chance as Wolves or Brentford.
  15. I beg to differ. They look to have spent well and have a real chance of staying up especially as Brentford and Wolves could well struggle.
  16. I think the point is deliberately choosing not to go even though you could out of some sort of principle. These dreamers want an empty stadium, Top to start crying, sell to an Arab and for us to be top 4 every season. OR maybe we are Leicester City and achieved more in the last 30 years than most teams will in their history.
  17. I'm not your mate, and that's fine, that's what football is about, opinions. I couldn't not go, I tried this season not to renew, went to the last day and I caved in. Like I said its a religion, my religion, and no matter how shit they are or how much I dislike the majority of the players I will always be there. A bit like a Christian has a bad time they don't stop going to church. I'm not sure when times are hard not turning up is the answer but you do you and turn up again when we are good. By the way we are a second division club by nature, most of our history has been spent there, and we have spoit in the last few years by the success. Just because we aren't very good doesn't mean fans should stop showing up.
  18. Isn't what makes a supporter someone who supports the club? Supporting the club means turning up and watching, even if we end up in the vanarama, you go and support the team. I'm the first one to call Soumare a lazy cvnt but it's my religion to go each week, so I'm not stopping that. Spending in the shop is not really my things, it's all overpriced, but it's also about showing pride in your team and wearing your teams badge and colours. Everyone who supports us wants us to be better and wants is to win, but either not turning up or just turning up to protest, boo etc doesn't really help things at all. I've just seen Fatawu critising the support now, it must be a topic among the squad, players being booed etc, and clearly isn't helping anything at all on or off the pitch. Maybe if we create a cauldron of noise and support we can do something positive. Doubtful I know but you never know.
  19. I meant replacing them in the team.
  20. It doesn't pain me, it just sums up our team and squad that he's our best defender. It's shows how much trouble we are in.
  21. Well whatever, he knows the fans chant that a lot they have ever since he arrived here. And even if there were boos, his own performances have caused that reaction
  22. Come off it, he's played a large part in both our relegations due to being error prone and out of position a lot. He looks OK at this level so he's a good championship defender. You should never have a go at your own fans, he earns a ridiculous amount each week and needs to wind his neck in. The thick cvnt needs to know most of the 'boos' were people chanting wout anyway. Can't stand him or most of this squad who all look like they couldn't give a shit. Get rid ASAP of the poison.
  23. Replacing Vestergaard, Soumare and Daka is not in the slightest bit hard though and would instantly improve us because we would have more energy mobility and hunger. Nelson and Page and even probably Evans or one or two loans or just any teens would be an upgrade on ability and attitude.
  24. The fact that a moody, highly erratic and very average player is our best defender is a half the problem. Just like our only strikers are Ayew who isn't a striker and Daka who isn't a professional footballer.
