He has looked out of depth at every level he has played. He is one of those players that should have been released from the academy then moved around a series of national league teams. The fact he got a 4 year deal from the club is a disgrace. I would like to think RM has sussed him out after today.

Same weak links in the team: Thomas, Skipp, BDCR & okoli who have all made mistakes in defensive areas. Alves , Braybrooke, Joseph played well. Cullen anonymous. Burns not had the ball. There is a lack of physical presence outside of the CB's.

Along with the away ticketing debacle and Rudkin, the refusal to invest in a museum has always been the worse triggers for my anger towards KP. There is a museum for a bent spined king who was just passing through but nothing for the greatest sporting miracle of all time (as well as the great moments that came before and after).

We need to be switched on and decisive at set pieces in both boxes. We need to control the centre of the pitch and not be bullied. Nothing stupid. Do that and we should be a able to control the game and gwt 3 points on the board. At the very least I hope we see Braybrooke, Joseph/Aluko, and Alves in some capacity.

You probably leave out Page for this one with all the speculation and his age. I guess you want Faes on the bench as back up (I need a shower after writing that) and yeah a winger misses so Howell or Watson. No need for Coolio B so straight choice between Aluko or McF. Aluko more versatile and McF has had a knock so that sways that decision.

The confirmation that the club is up for sale is fantastic news. It could be another year or so but the process is at least underway. What the right price is will be determined by the market but I don't think they can either afford to keep us or even want to keep us. Let's hope the fit & proper person's test doesn't screw us over its and we don't end up with owners who are as bad or worse.

A week before the season starts and we don't have a ball-playing CB which is vital to Russball. That's really concerning. The lack of a CF is also a major failure on the recruitment team who have had literally years to sort it.

Yes I can see the logic. It is a much more original piece of business that signing some over the hill slodge, even if it doesn't work out.

Through the lens of King Power and pals needing to leave our club, this appointment actually moves it on quite a bit. If his reign is as bad as we expect, it will help to turn a lot more on the fence City fans against the ownership as well as put KP under great media scrutiny and financial pressure. That sounds ok to me. If Martin proves us wrong and actually does a good job then we get some respite from the decline.

The guy has been in post for about 6 weeks and not a word out of the club as far as I have seen. To think that even loan players who don't make it off the bench get sit down interviews and the full social media treatment, and here is a senior position and nothing. He might have changed his mind for all we know and left. The club is a total shambles.

The club is in a death spiral. Totally the wrong man at the wrong time with the wrong players to execute his outdated style. It makes no sense from any angle you view it from.

Absolute shambles. This guy's 'philosophy', which he will change for nobody in any situation, is a weak imitation of a style introduced by Pep and other Spanish tactician. That philosophy has been moved on from because it is not pleasant on the eye and reduces fiitball to a game of dot-to-dot. Even if it was still en vogue, you need the players to execute. It's such an unimaginative appointment that will drive a wider divide between the club and fans but maybe that's the plan here.

I bet other clubs and agents just laugh at us for the contracts and wages we dish out. He is a £10k a week player at best yet he was on £50k in the Prem wasn't he? Maybe that is down to £20k or £25k now with relegation clauses but still totally undeserved. This club is the pits.

We will continue to rot and decline while we have the same useless ownership and board. Until the vast majority of fans realise that and either get protesting or stop going, then nothing will change.

Come on lets get Martin appointed. This will be the best way to fast track the decline and quicken the departure of these cretins.
