SAFE PAIR OF HANDS??? The guy who called a snap referendum, had no plan for the eventuality of leaving then ****ed off as soon as we voted the wrong way? The only thing worse than the Tories is their client media writing this offensive filth instead of holding them to account.

Just to echo what others have said, as someone who has suffered with long term unemployment and physical ailments, consider giving the job a go. Getting out and about is better than staying at home and doing nothing. Have you been to a physio about your ankles? Not the NHS - I had to wait 6 weeks for a phone appointment to be told I do need to see a physio, for which I am waiting another 6 weeks - if you're near Loughborough there's a private one on Forest Road that is very good, though a bit pricey.

The definitive game for every Leicester scoreline
urban.spaceman replied to Nalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just to throw a curveball into the thread - stay with me - my favourite ever 2-0 defeat is against Atletico Madrid at Filbert Street. The worst referee we’ve ever had (UEFA literally struck him off afterwards) and until Sevilla, the best atmosphere I’d ever experienced. The Kop didn’t shut up all night. My dad still talks about the hilarity of a hearing a 12 year old me shouting “the referees a willy puller” in a rare moment of quiet. I’ll never, ever ever forget that game. -
Honestly can't understand this Liam Payne story. Sounds like a tragic accident but appeared to be being reported worldwide within literally minutes of his most recent social media posts. Had he been live-streaming? In those posts he'd seemed quite lucid, but then the BBC seemed to be suggesting that the Argentinian police had been responding to reports of someone behaving aggressively and under the influence. Honestly an awful thing to happen, to someone so young, with such a young child. I only hope the authorities had the opportunity to notify his family win private before the rest of the world found out. Absolutely harrowing.

I've made a few contacts in the industry over the last few days and I can confirm, on extremely good authority, that Brendan O'Carroll is not, and never has been, a comedian. Hope that clears it up and puts the rumours to bed.

On my way down to London this morning for a ‘table read’ of an excerpt of my script performed by professional actors in front of industry guests such aa agents and producers. Nervous don’t begin to describe it.

Better this morning than I was last night!! Found myself completely spiralling after a very stressful couple of weeks, and with a very busy, stressful and potentially seismic week starting tomorrow, that I don’t feel mentally prepared for at the minute.

£750k fine for an ill-advised tweet. vs £3.6m fine for an extremely ill-advised setting up of a private league designed to bankrupt every other club in Europe and destroy any possibility of competition ever again that still hasn't been paid 3 years later. Baffling.

She was caught out in multiple lies before the election on various things. She doesn't seem to care about procedure or accountability, and has expressed some pretty batshit opinions on things we all take for granted, like maternity pay. She's anti-worker and pro-anything businesses want to do. She's a Johnson/Trump type conservative. Here she is last year being caught out by Hoyle: She will be an utter humiliation as leader, as will Jenrick, which is why I'm pretty happy...

Me when there's a new story shared with glaringly obvious and hilarious puns but the story is actually very serious:
-
Free lobotomies outside Tesco in Sileby...

New head of BBC weather:
-
“Shadow Home Secretary receives tickets for artist in good faith. Artist is later targeted in foiled terror attack abroad. Artist is then offered added protection for tour of the UK by newly elected Home Secretary, considering recent terror attack and far right riots. She didn’t declare the tickets, because she didn’t need to as they were below the threshold.”

It's gonna be the Worst of British Pub by the time Milton's done with it.

It was one of the many left by Boris after Partygate.

I mean all 3 are batshit insane and generally all-round terrible people, but at least Badenoch and Jenrick had actually achieved stuff in their careers before becoming leader. What they achieved was failure, but that that isn't the point.
-
Badenough and Jenprick it is. Starmer just opened a bottle of the good shit and poured himself a glass.

Honestly can't get over the fact that someone thought the Chagos Islands weren't even on earth.
