  1. Wasn’t he taking donations from his fans for his legal defence?
  2. What a night that was. I remember tuning back into the match thread at 3-0 or something and we were all reacting to different goals at the same time due to all the dodgy streams I ****ing love the fact that we're the least "normal" club in the world.
  3. Why is Keown wearing a bullet proof vest?
  4. Update from last Wednesday... So I got myself extremely stressed beforehand with all the organising, sourcing contacts and other stuff. Got myself down to Soho Wednesday morning and had a rehearsal or two with my actors. Then came the grad show- and' I went first. Everything went really, really well. People laughed in the right places and some places I hadn't realised. The 10 minutes went by very smoothly. The actors were brilliant. Then we had 2 other students having their work performed before an interval. In the interval a producer approached me. He said he really enjoyed my script excerpt and he has a friend who's a producer and is looking for a script based in Wales, which mine is, then asked if I had a copy on me that I could send him. So I gave him my phone, he put in his details while my head was exploding, then sent him the script on email just before the second half began. Absolutely bewildering. Had a bit of a shit week since then though. My docs let me down yet again making it much longer before I can get help on a medical issue. I was so angry that I went to the nearest practice and tried to register there - apparently it's a lottery because there are so many coming from my surgery, so there's no guarantee. Then my employer stabbed me in the back again, making the next few months even tighter than it would have been. I desperately wanted to treat my family over the next few months as a thank you but it's looking unfeasible for now. And then I pulled something in my back and have been in excruciating pain since Friday that I can barely walk. I have a few applications/submissions coming up in the next few weeks as well as some script editing and spec developing but I just have no enthusiasm to even get started. And then my Masters results arrived this morning. Still not opened it. Genuinely not in the mood for either a good or bad result. Just gonna leave it for a few days.
  5. Unfortunately they're just rumours and apparently been shot down by some journalists. Knowing Nolan he likes to be as secretive as possible, sometimes all the way up to release - nobody knew what Inception was about until the first trailer but even then, it was so vague that nobody quite knew what they were in stall for. I remember some screenwriting blogs at the time were posting fake reviews of what they thought the script was about... Even so, considering he's cast the worst actor alive for keeping things secret, I don't think we'll find out for a while. A selection: Original films: Untitled Christopher Nolan project Untitled Steven Spielberg project Untitled Jordan Peele project (Get Out, Us, Nope) Untitled Daniels project (Swiss Army Man, Everything Everywhere All At Once) Untitled Lee Cronin project (Hole in the Ground, Evil Dead Rise) Project Hail Mary (adaptation of same author as The Martian, dir by Lord & Miller who did the Jump Street movies and most of Rogue One till they were sacked) Weapons (Zach Cregger - Barbarian) Franchise films: Avatar 3 (late December 2025) Scream 7 Dune: Messiah Avengers Doomsday Toy Story 5 Shrek 5 Moana live action remake The Batman Part II I'm sure some will be moved around but it's looking like a *fairly busy* year.
  6. I love how we're all so used to political scandals from the Tories that, now what they've gone, Labour doing something within the rules and reporting it correctly is now considered to be "sleaze". Just 4 months ago we had some Tory MPs betting on the date of election based on insider information from within No. 10, and another sharing his government colleagues phone numbers to someone he'd met on Grindr under the threat of them sharing pictures of his cock. The best thing they can up with is "PM accepted a free ticket to see a popular music act, who was then the victim of an attempted terrorist attack elsewhere, and when the same act - whose shows earlier in the year had brought in millions to the UK economy - asked for better protection in the light of said terror attack and far right riots in the UK, the UK government happily obliged" We need a better class of media in this country. The current lot are still drunk on 14 years of corruption - Laura K "accidentally" sent a former Tory Prime Minister her questions ahead of an interview for his book of lies before grilling a Labour minister about a tweet and lying brazenly to her viewers about it being from 2 years ago and in different context, while Kay Burley was tweeting Mills and Boon style tweets about a different Tory PM as if he hadn't called a snap referendum and left us in the shit for a generation OR been personally involved in the Greensill scandal that hasn't been covered by the media for years. We deserve better.
  7. Enjoyed Nightsleeper
  8. They're far more alike than people realise. Narcicists ✅ Born into privilege ✅ History of abject failure ✅ Friendships with dodgy and dangerous people ✅ Terrible understanding of global affairs ✅ Never taken any responsibility for anything they've ever done ✅ Very weird culty fanbase ✅ ***** ✅
  9. Seems legit
  10. Oh, and: Matt Damon was cast recently too. Rumours are that it's a vampire flick set in the 1920s. 2026 is going to be epic.
  11. Just been to see Back to the Future 2 at the Vue. Didn't even know it was in cinemas until this afternoon! My favourite trilogy of all time. First time seeing it on the big screen too. Hope they release 3 into cinemas next year for its 35th anniversary (which was the reason for 2's rerelease) Recently watched Watcher on Netflix - very tense and enjoyable. Still can't figure out what I thought of Joker 2. I'm still fascinated with the choices they made; literally none of them seemed to pay off. I can't wait to hear about the fallout behind the scenes.
  12. No.
  13. I love how we managed to get the Premier League to admit their rules were poorly written and then got an independent panel to officially state that too while finding in our favour, that because of the way the rules are written we didn't even actually breach any limit because the rule didn't apply to us, yet we get called Loophole City? We didn't even exploit a loophole, we literally just read the rules as they were written!
  14. Quite a few miracles at St Mary's today
  15. Sat behind him at Filbert Street against Bradford in 1998. ****ing love that he's still going.
  16. Can't wait to see BDCR start in his place next week.
  17. What is it about us, Southampton, and absolutely mental games?
