I don’t disagree but I won’t forget the reaction on here to Aluko being sent off. Pure elation from certain posters as it meant they could point score. Nelson deserves all the criticism he’s getting by the way I won’t dispute that. He’s older than Page, Aluko, Monga etc who you could give some leeway too

I was having this conversation earlier I wouldn’t be surprised if you put him in a Norwich or a Swansea side he suddenly looks capable. Or at least slightly better Id even say the same about Okoli to some degree

This is in no way me saying I want him as I don’t but he’s actually done a pretty solid job at Newport. He’s only lost 3 out of 10 home games in charge and got them 2 points clear of the bottom 2. I think before he came in they hadn’t won at home in ages. Just looked it up and the League 2 table since Fuchs came in has Newport in 19th. 8 clear of the bottom 2. So not bad going

Agree with all of this. I’ve been massively disappointed. I will say though I don’t think he’s been crap the whole season like some have said. think he was fine when he first came into the side, not amazing just fine. Quite a few times this season he’ll look completely fine then drop an absolute howler. Bristol City where I genuinely thought he had a good game either side of the penalty incident. I’d be interested to see how he got on in a more positive environment with a decent partner next to him funnily enough I thought one of his better games came at LB

I do think we a large percentage of fans who just go to games for the day out and that’s it. They’re just not particularly bothered.
