Southampton’s football is by far away the nicest stuff I’ve seen played this season in the Championship based on the very limited amount of games I’ve seen -

Both Brighton and West Ham playing really good attacking footfall, yet the brainwashed amongst us will tell you that the games changed -
Yeah true. I know for a fact our course won’t do a deal. They’re proper sticklers for it, even if it means them losing out on money

I’m a member at Longcliffe. Not played a course harder than this in the summer. Should be able to sort out tee times in the week, but I think it’s about £70 a round. (One member can only sign x amount of guests in for the discounted rate of circa £30 a round) https://www.longcliffegolf.co.uk/ ^^^ Copied from the charity thread @tom27111 started this topic in

Yeah. The commentators were flabbergasted it hadn’t gone to VAR though themselves, so they clearly must’ve thought it was a straight red too I know what you’re saying, but if you’re going to stick with VAR then at least use it on decisions like this. I think I’m talking to you on Twitter by the way 😂 -

There wasn’t a second yellow shown I don’t think? Straight red as far as I’m concerned It’s not even a yellow in anyway -

That Forest red card Absolutely unbelievable Didnt even go to VAR after the decision was made -

I’d be well up for anything golf related next year yes. I did mention us from here having some form of golf day but now I’ve been banned from posting freely on here and have to have every comment approved 😂😂 it’d be too difficult for me to sort.

Thought it’s been pretty good tbh Beat Reading and stayed top from that point onwards to win the Championship Beat Man City with Ricardos goal Sure, we’ve had some tonkings, a couple at the hands of Liverpool and last season when Rodgers was at his worst v Newcastle I wouldn’t say it’s a curse

It’s Earps’ job to keep clean sheets Its anyone’s job on that list to win The only reason Earps won that last night is because the BBC have the rights to a lot of women’s football and is more accessible (free) to watch than The Ashes. It’s also an indicator on the demographic that watch SPOTY. I guarantee you that if you asked 100 people on the street, Family Fortunes style, then the winner would not be Earps. -
On the contrary I’m thinking about a a bit of a lump on Rangers to win the title, providing Rodgers stays for the duration of the season, I think there’s a big possibility that Celtic will bottle it
-
Yet he’s admitted in an AGM up there that he signs off on their transfers 😂 It’s so funny to read their forum. Gives me PTSD I reckon he might end up at Forest you know 👀

Gutted really LIV is a cancer to the game of golf I can’t see how the two can coexist. At this rate Rory will be defecting too

I think you meant me, but yes, exactly Notts Co managers logic is fine, based on the assumption that when they have the ball they actually do something useful with it We do not. Not really. Not as much as we should for saying we ‘dominate’ games
-
Ok, but if you’ve played a passing game all game and haven’t particularly done anything other than win a few corners, what you (I) DON’T want to see is a short corner whereby we carry on passing it around in the same ineffective manner we have all game It sounds ridiculous but at times the ball really does just need putting in the mixer
-
If that’s so as you say, why do teams hoof it in to the big men when taking corners? I genuinely don’t understand this train of thought whereby if Man City don’t do it then nobody else can either. A 6 foot 4 tall player in the box waiting for a cross to come in is still the same threat that a 6 foot 4 player from the 90s carried. Or Howard, or Slimani (🤔) or Ulloa, or peak Vardy Even if you are of the belief that ‘the games changed’ and ‘nobody plays that way anymore’ then surely that’s all the more reason to try it? Opposition won’t be expecting it?
