Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Revealed: How Ruud van Nistelrooy is plotting to win promotion back to the Premier League with Leicester does it start by doing something he has failed to do for over 8 home games? Scoring a poxy goal. its worrying that he thinks there is a chance -
He was dropped because after his mini purple patch against lower champ teams, Daka leading the line resulted in our worst run of form of the season 3 consecutive defeats with only 3 goals scored in those fixtures as a team. 6 starts since his last goal against Watford and 4 of those games resulted in defeat. So it wasn’t like Enzo just dropped him for no reason.

The season hasn’t finished, the bloke has been part of the reason we have suffered 2 relegations. He didn’t want to be in the championship last season, so its no huge surprise. it’s a shame he couldn’t show the same urgency on the pitch as he has letting agents or declaring he wants out asap. Part of the problem when overpaid players don’t have to suffer the same fate as fans do. No wonder they look half arsed every game. Such an underwhelming player you can remember the odd good run he has made.
-
Great story, if the bloke had gone on to play and be picked. basically enzo recommended another lemon that couldn’t get in a team that lost 15 from 17
-
Makes sense, sign a player a manager wanted that left 8 months before. Scouting team showing their worth.
-
Faes Vestaturd Cody Winks next please
-
Didn’t Dyche say he liked to attend our games before the Everton job when he was out of work as he was localish
-
Unai Emery? His stock has always been too good for us.
-
Doesn’t want his stock falling any further when he gets shown up by average midfielders with better engines and more desire
-
Low block kinda negates all of that
-
In hindsight yes because Vardy has been awful and all those games were written off as losses irrespective of who started. I guess it was more of a risk earlier on.

Parker linked to spurs Angie will need a new club 😂 Farke could be a free agent soon “ahead of appointing Farke, Leeds were blocked by Rayo Vallecano after making an approach for Iraola”
-
What’s the excuse with RVN
-
Im sure the a majority of the clubs with less of a wage bill feels it’s superior to theirs. “8/1 start of season talk of play offs and they were active in the window to push on the previous seasons strong finish”
-
Whilst I agree, What are Rodger’s, Smith, Enzo(to a lesser extent), Cooper, RVN all seeing that makes that happen for the last 4 years. Even when Vardy was struggling in form in the relegation season? Daka (2 full 90s) 13 starts 24/25 (1 full 90) 15 starts in 46 games season got more starts due to injury to Vardy 23/24 (2 full 90s)11 starts 22/23 (3 full 90s) 13 starts 21/22 Meanwhile Vardy (18 90s this season) 33 starts so far He played 6 full 90s and 18 starts two seasons ago 22/23 I wonder what all these managers are seeing in training to choose not to utilise Leicesters 5th highest ever signing for full 90 mins or even to start more games 💩

Totally different for enzo relegated once, established prem team 9 years. this time looks a totally less attractive proposition, second relegation in 3 seasons. Car crash of a season. More questions in the public domain about the discontent with the hierarchy. More restrictive PSR coming
-
13th with 11 highest budget meh
-
They probably did it was used on cooper etc
-
We were bottom they were 17th Gerard took villa from 7th to 17th villa pulled trigger could see what was coming. Rodgers took us from 8th to bottom and Top and co made more errors of judgement and gave him another window and majority of the season
-
Average is too much credit
-
Total revenue I’d expect, including gates, sponsorship, broadcasting. The problem is though they are already established clubs doing it slowly. Whereas newly promoted clubs generally needs to spend more. Does this end up making the Prem an even more closed shop

There was an interesting article, from Maresca that used RP as an example for Reece James, who has also been plagued by injuries. By making them inverted midfielders they were reducing the load. "In terms of data, you can see that when a full-back plays in the way they used to play, up and down, they (do that) much, much, much more (often) than to go inside, covering a (bigger) distance, for the amount of times they go up and down," he said. "So for sure that way that we are using James, in some games, can help him. "Last year at Leicester we had Ricardo Pereira, that he potentially could be a top player for a top team, but because of his injuries... last year with us he played all the games, we changed a little bit and that works quite well.
-
The league intends to adopt a new squad cost ratio (SCR) approach to spending controls, which would limit clubs to spending a set percentage of their income on player-related costs. With this set to be introduced in 26-27 if we do go up will it be even harder to survive? This years promoted sides will be the last to benefit from the older rules.

But whilst the majority of fans continue to attend and clap, the “dog” is eating well and running around. -

Thats like saying he had no desire to get a point at Brighton. For him there is now a desire to come away from this disaster with a few points at the end of the season so he can talk about improvement of performance like he did post Liverpool.
