When you think they shifted KDH and HB for about 70m pure profit last time. Plus a tighter leash on PSR next season it’s going to be a struggle financially.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
HankMarvin replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The only way he comes out of this season with any hope, is to get a few results at the end of the season with young players playing. Backing up his point about players pressing etc. But it seems like an easy excuse, to save face when you have one of the managerial worst records at a club. Then you factor in the risk of giving a manager likely to be sacked the new players that he craves, then they don’t fit what the next manager wants -
Yeah delete in case he reads mods

From an advisor point of view, he could be injured at any time. Take the most lucrative offer on the table

Normally when a manager comes in and sees a squad unfit. There is an uptick in performances related to them getting fit. He has had half a season and been utter dogshit -
LCFC 2-0 Southampton, post-match thread
HankMarvin replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I guess it’s subjective, I’m sure fans of Bournemouth, Brentford, well managed and well run with a fraction of the capacity. Fulham.Forest, Wolves and Palace, Brighton still believe they are “slapping down the big boys” with Man united and Spurs in 15th and 16th -

Makes no sense, he isn’t good enough for the top flight clearly. So why not give a manager the time and transfers to develop a playing style in the Championship and let him use that confidence as a spring board if we got promoted. If we were going to get rid of him, it’s best to do it on the back of a relegation and pitiful record. -
That was the Brentford keepers stats by the way

Most saves in the league and the 5th highest save percentage at 74% Mads wouldn’t be signed as a guaranteed number 1 there

one for next season thread but Leeds chairmen confirms Farke going nowhere I wanted to win a trophy, just like Daniel did, just like the players did, just like all the staff did, and we got that goal. "My plan was always to come and speak to you all right after the season concluded, and so that time is now, and I want to tell you all that I'm very excited to run it back with Daniel. "I'm really excited about collaborating with Daniel, with Robbie Evans, who we promoted to managing director, with Adam Underwood, who we promoted to sporting director. "And together, we are going to build the best squad that we can with every penny that we're allowed to spend to go and compete in the Premier League

“In most other seasons, United would be in a relegation fight so they are lucky the bottom three teams are so rubbish”

Probably been paid about 16m in wages in four years and one of the reasons we are where we are. I have zero sympathy for any long term underperforming players.

Leicester draw up three-man shortlist as axe looms on Ruud van Nistelrooy amid nightmare season that has seen Foxes relegated from the Premier League 11:30, 02 May 2025, updated 13:30, 02 May 2025 By TOM COLLOMOSSE No decision has been made yet on the future of Ruud van Nistelrooy Leicester have been relegated with five Premier League games to spare LISTEN NOW: It's All Kicking Off! Ian Ladyman reveals his pick for best goalkeeper this season - and it's NOT Alisson Becker Leicester are actively considering replacements for Ruud van Nistelrooy as they seek to finalise a decision on who will lead their bid to win an instant return to the Premier League. The Dutchman has overseen a disastrous run of results since replacing Steve Cooper last autumn, meaning the Foxes will play in the Championship next season. Though they have yet to make a final decision on Van Nistelrooy’s future, Mail Sport understands targets have already been sounded out by intermediaries, with Danny Rohl, Russell Martin and Lee Carsley among the names considered. Mail Sport revealed last November that Sheffield Wednesday boss Rohl was a surprise name on the shortlist when Cooper was dismissed. Though he was not deemed experienced enough at the time to take the reins, Leicester have been hugely impressed by the job the German has done at Wednesday. He steered the club to safety last season in his first senior role – despite inheriting a team that looked certain to drop straight back into League One when he took over. Ruud van Nistelrooy's future remains uncertain after Leicester City were relegated Danny Rohl has been on Leicester's shortlist after impressing with Sheffield Wednesday Replacing Steve Cooper with van Nistelrooy did not stop Leicester from being relegated This term, the 36-year-old has kept the Owls well clear of the lower reaches of the table. The one snag for Leicester, who are in a difficult financial position, is that Rohl has a significant compensation clause in his contract, unlike Martin. But he is known to have impressed Foxes recruitment chief Martyn Glover when both were working at Southampton. After such an embarrassing season, there is expected to be a reworking of Leicester’s structure, which may see Glover taking a more central role. Until now Jon Rudkin, a firm ally of chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, has been an all-powerful director of football but has been targeted this season by angry supporters, who blame him for Leicester’s slump. Asked about his future ahead of Saturday’s clash with Southampton, Van Nistelrooy said: ‘I've said many times before I've been proactive in conversations in February, March and April with the board and chairman. 'They know where I stand and I'm looking for alignment. Moving forward you have to be aligned. 'That intention is there 100 per cent. We are all hoping to find out soon. 'The quicker the better, it's in the best interest of the club. 'But no news so far.’

Not even linked and he loved KDH whilst at Leicester who has made one start all season in the league for Chelsea. You could argue they are stacked with midfielders, but they will be stacked with goalkeepers next season.

See I don’t get all this hung out to dry, the fact of the matter is that the time he was announced their was constant speculation that we would breach PSR, there was history of what Rudkin had done with Rodger’s regarding transfers for almost identical reasons. If a manager is that desperate for a job, (rejected by Burnley, linked to Coventry) don’t complain further down the line when you either haven’t done your due diligence or didn’t care enough to consider what might happen at the time. Both helmets, and both need removing.
