He hasn't said mean things about the board. He can stay.

Id guess the same. I would also guess his mum works on reception at seagrave for an hour a month on a £53k salary plus benefits.

Yes as long as it's not rammed full. You can take a really big rucksack as long as you can stuff it in the small rack if asked. The idiots that get done at the gate are those that ram their bags full so they are larger than the allowable.

I've been a couple of times and it's worth a day out. Lots of history and it's a generally chilled out place. Most of the towns in that part of Spain are worth a visit I'd say. El Rocio with it's sand roads is well worth a visit as well as it's so odd.

Might have a chance at the lands and Zelensky. I suspect he is ready to pack it in by now. Trump might be willing to drop sanctions even if the rest of the world doesn't. Not a chance they demilitarise.
-
There will be demands. No Zelensky. Full demilitarisation. Hand over the lands that Russia has claimed including the areas it hasn't yet invaded. Dropping of all economic sanctions from the EU and USA. Ukraine should be grateful it still exists after the crimes it has committed. There wont be anything we haven't heard before in fairness.

https://united24media.com/latest-news/kremlin-rejects-zelenskyys-istanbul-peace-summit-proposal-calls-it-political-theater-8308 Quotes Russian state media. It does look like some talks will take place but that Putin won't be involved.
-
Talks are off now anyway. Zelensky expecting to talk to Putin is just political theatre apparently.
-
They want peace on their terms certainly. Unfortunately, it would involve handing over large parts of the country and the installation of a puppet leader in a similar vein to Belarus. As the above won't happen, I reckon they need the war to prop up their economy so will keep it going for as long as they can. Incidentally, its hard to imagine Putin being brave enough to leave his palace in Russia. If he is pictured there, I guess it will be a double with actual negotiations done through intermediaries. I also can't imagine Zelensky wanting to sit in the same room as a Russian politician as the chances of him getting a fatal disease within days would be too high.
-
It's really hard to make Russia look silly as they are so brazen in their lies. Similar to trump in many ways. Russia and the rest of the world know full well they are the aggressor and their excuses are made up gibberish, but they will pass off lies to sow discourse anyway. Zelensky has to go along with the charade to try and keep trump onside, knowing that Russia doesn't want peace at all. This negotiation stuff just seems like a sham to me.
-
I guess it saves going into talks with a power that has no interest in ending the war?
-
It isn't a ceasefire if both sides don't agree to the terms. So far a ceasefire means a loud announcement on twitter whilst firing large numbers of missiles at civilian areas. We haven't had anything like a ceasefire as yet.
-
We found out today that Russia has been trying to negotiate since 2022 and it was Ukraine being obstructive to peace. I think obstructive to peace in Russian translates as the ****ers kept firing back I stead of just dying.

The stat that only 57% of Leicester residents were born in England is incredible.

We have bought thousands of plants online, from trees to hedging to feature plants and the quality has always been excellent.
-
Use the internet...... Online garden centres are much cheaper and have better selections. Dependant on what you want to plant, bare root is the cheapest way of buying plants, but you are getting a bit late to plant them. That said, putting them in now they should survive if not thrive this year if you water every day after planting. https://www.gardeningexpress.co.uk/ - 9.6% cash back with Quidco is decent as well. We have had plenty from the above, but we have used many online sources, even ebay for plants.

They have used the opportunity to launch hundreds of long range drones into Russia. I think they have taken advantage of most of the anti-air defence being moved to Moscow to go for war infrastructure around the country. Russia claimed to have shot down over 500 drones in a single night the other day. I don't think there is a ceasefire on either side at the moment. Plus the last thing Ukraine needs is a foreign PM being killed in a drone strike.

Another discussion point is that 'the kids' are hooked on shorts. So they ingest lots of short videos meaning all they hear politically are quick soundbites. Farage is the master of these, whereas your traditional politicians will talk at length by which time they have lost the audience. An interview or monologue doesn't work on tiktok either.

A lot of worried folks in the IT sector on LBC this evening. Not one of them were bothered about NI, more concerned about their jobs moving to India.

I wasn't as forgiving with the European Hornet in the lounge. I've never seen such a large insect in the UK. It may have been a queen looking for a nest.
-
Loads of bees this year. Having to rescue 8-10 a day from the kitchen whenever the back doors are open.

Reckon 25-26k Empty seats all over.

I'd give Coulibaly a go as a winger. We have signed him, he might as well get some minutes and see how he does.
-
Got to stop playing him as a substitute Winks. Whilst I was underwhelmed by the signing, he looked good under Cooper as a box to box.
