Who was our worst manager and why?
Trav Le Bleu replied to ramboacdc's topic in Leicester City Forum
There are actually 6 City managers with a 0% win ratio. None of them were in charge for many games. Of managers who managed more than 20 games, McLintock has the worst record at 12.5. -

Alien Earth really has some kickass tunes at the end of each episode. Just watched episode 4 and now I want to go listen to Nothing Shocking.
-
That's scary.

Prefer Lemmy. And he's dead!

Let he who is without sin... etc And before anyone says that this is attributed to Jesus, but is also considered by some to be added later (or even that Jesus never existed), I am (obviously) aware of this. Nipped at the bus I feel.

Ok Daedalus.

Yeah taking that along side. Can take it with co-codamol too, which contains paracetamol itself (and therefore you can't take it with paracetamol). Ibuprofen is more an anti-inflammatory and reduces the cause of the pain, rather than the pain itself, hence it can really help if there is inflammation involved, which in my case, there is.

You do. I think a lot don't, even if only it's because their parents shield them from it. Is it so unusual that kids don't often appreciate their parents until later in life, sometimes after the mistakes they make that their parents avoided? And here I'm talking about all kids, not just immigrants. I don't think anyone can really know what someone else has gone through without going through it themselves, no matter how empathetic.

The problem with saying RVN or Holloway is that, whilst neither was any good, RVN in particular, both were already on a hiding to nothing with the situation they walked into. I think it has to be McLintock or Taylor, though I'm too young to make too educated a comment on the former. -
Not exactly today, but over the last few days. Co-codamol really doesn't agree with me. First day the pain relief for my broken arm was great, but the next two days I literally got ALL the commonly listed side effects. Dizzy, headaches, nausea, vomiting, sweating, constipation and breathing difficulties. Came off them yesterday and feel so much better even with the broken arm and only relying on paracetamol.

Yeah, they go to school, get the abuse and also don't appreciate how much worse life was for their parents. They might even serve as translators (showing the importance of learning the language of any country you want to live in - and British ex-pats can be just as guilty) and so therefore end up doing the household admin. It's not an excuse, but it is a cause.

That lovely Nadine Dorries has defected to Reform. Former Conservative minister Nadine Dorries defects to Reform UK - BBC News https://share.google/YH6t6LKtza7YbFAz5 I didn't realise she was still an MP. Reform should be a perfect fit for her. Edit: she isn't an MP, in which case, not sure how this is a defection.

I wonder which toilet Graham Linehan would want him to use?

Wear a dress, you'll be fine! It's the current hate crime that police have actually got round to dealing with. It's no wonder no police turn upif you've been robbed, or vandalised, or shoplifted - they're too busy dealing with people not liking other people a little too much because they're different. Edit: I have of course made the grave error of assuming you don't usually wear dresses. In my defence, at with Stan, I've seen him on TV and he looked fairly masculine... but who am I to judge? The Surgeon General?
-
Who is he? He's the Surgeon General. Is he not aware that medical practitioners are constantly telling people what to put in their bodies?
-
Anti quated?
-
I know places that have such and you get people queuing in corridors. Which is a small inconvenience, but I think you're overlooking how much the general public really hate small inconveniences.
-
The easy way to sort this is to have Willy and No Willy toilets. Either that or public buildings will need to have over a dozen different toilets, the majority of which are rarely used.

Frequently last season.

Oh yeah, I get that. It got me thinking though, who would be a social media devil's advocate? Asking questions or voicing opinions you don't necessarily agree with, but feel should be put out there in the interest of balance. Wouldn't want that job. Putting aside "correct or incorrect", going against the general consensus is online suicide. Cos metaphors are real! Right?

Now it is time to go and find a sponsor!
Trav Le Bleu replied to Scotch's topic in Leicester City Forum
No. Short sales would increase, it could potentially be deductable in a "look what we have charitably donated" way and were the EFL to charge us, they'd look extra bad going for the club had invested in their local community rather than take a dollop of money. I actually think it would help us on that front, not least because any potential sponsorship is likely to be paltry.
