The billions spent on art and sport, all of which are vanity projects essentially, when there are so many other more important things in the world. Yes, that painting is very nice, but £300m? You're not even paying that to the artist or their family. I don't get the whole forgery thing either. If you have a painting that is so like a classic that only an expert could tell, then you've got a work of art that is, to all intents and purposes, as good as the original, yet it is worth virtually nothing So where is the actual value? Just a name is all. (Don't get me started on autographed stuff.) Similarly the wages given sports stars. Yes, they have short careers, but many of them are earning more in a month than you will in your life. Their careers aren't that short (and obviously, this only applies to the elite athletes, there's plenty who earn a standard living).

When you think about it, social media is the antithesis of being social. Too many people have let it replace actual socialising, which if you do with the right people will make you feel much better.

Changes tack more often than Ben Ainslie.

There's no evidence that Reform will do anything, there not being any historical record of their implementation of power. They're not even 7 years in existence yet and any comments about what they will do has to be purely speculative. In fact, as history has repeatedly shown, what a political party has as policy often never happens. There are very few facts in politics, but a great many opinions.

Not in the top 150 European crime index, you'll never sing that!

I thought this. If you're covering stuff up, making it illegal is hardly going to stop you.

As soon as financially possible?

I feel my healthcare comments were most informed.

Sanjeev was funnier than I thought he would be. I can see Maisie Adam walking away with it though, she's got the right mindset from other celeb gameshows she's done (Outsiders, Guessable).

Surely it'd be easier to gauge your eyes out if we jumped on your front? See, this is what happens when you don't fund healthcare - people have no idea about anatomy.

I find it especially weird that so many people in the north, relatively unaffected by immigration, get drawn into this. Stop the small boats! Where from? Denmark? That was over a 1000 years ago! Of course Reform and the more uglier right wing groups will then say, "but Muslim grooming gangs, children murdered in Southport", neither of which were perpetuated by actual immigrants - just people of a different colour. Which isn't excusing that, but it's an entirely different subject, that in some areas even 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants feel marginalised or even flat out refuse to integrate. Nothing to do with stopping boats. Needs to be addressed in a completely different way.

Not so much depressed as frustrated with my broken arm (not my fault, ask Mr White Van man who didn't stop and left me in the middle of the road for two hours). Been over two weeks now, still in sling (too near shoulder joint to plaster), still hurts, still wake up every 30 mins or so throughout the night and still very little movement. Specialist at hospital has told me I'll never be able to raise that arm (left, fortunately) above shoulder height as it's quiet a complicated break. Fortunately my lovely wife has been great, helping me dress, shower and eat. On the plus side I haven't had to do the dishes, or any other household chores!

Overrated, though as always, Michael Rooker makes a good baddie.

Yeah, 500k would be pretty much almost the entire adult population of Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. It always astonishes me how people don't understand large numbers. I think because of inflation in general, people aren't impressed by 1,000,000 any more (for instance, there are parts of the UK where that wouldn't buy you a family home), but regardless, it's a big number. For instance, London receives 202 million tourists a year, which is approximately 553,000 a day from all over the world and the UK, so to add double that on one day... quite frankly the city would've ground to a halt. Not withstanding the fact, 1,000,000 people... that's a lot of villages missing their idiot.

Same, I was in the NW corner wondering if we'd scored, was he injured. Nerve wracking few mins. -

One of my favourite games that I've attended. If we lost that game, don't think we would have won the League. Nathan Dyer is a legend. -
You'd like to though.
