Picking Ayew is pretty shocking really and doesn't look good on Rowett. But to be honest what's the point of an out and out striker when you've got wingers who consistently cut inside almost every time they've got the ball. I think under Rowett we will get the ball forward a bit quicker once he gets more time coaching the team. The point I was making about Okoli is he's just not a ball playing CB and if I was a manager I'd get him to get the ball out of his feet as soon as possible and if that means him launching so be it.

He needs to be told to launch it every time he has someone within 10 yards of him. From behind the goal it showed his pass was supposed to go towards Reid who was coming short for it but spun back out with him then wanting the ball over his head. Okoli just can't make these passes he just hasn't got that in his locker he just needs to simplify his game and play it long.

I agree with you about the wingers I've been thinking about this for a few weeks now not one manager of recent times has ever swapped the wingers over just to at least give the opposition fullbacks something different to think about.
