Absolute banana skin for us today with Sheff Utd at home. They've been battered in recent games but will come and park the bus against us. Everyone expects us to win, and Neto/Hwang are the most transferred in players in FPL this week. We always struggle against teams that come to defend and we usually give 6 points a season to one of the worst teams in the division. We gave Huddersfield exactly that when they finished bottom the other year. And Sheff Utd have already beaten us away (albeit thanks to a dodgy late pen). So put your money on Sheff Utd.

He's alright but don't think he'll ever quite be PL standard. He's still young so never say never, but yeah our CEO got his pants pulled down on that deal believing he was some kind of generational talent.

Before last night you were only a point behind Reading's 106 season after the same number of games. And for comparison when we (Wolves) got promoted in 17/18 with the best team in the league we had a similar sticky patch at this exact time of the season where we had 1 win in 5 games and lost to Fulham and Villa in short order! We still won the league by 9 points! And that was with chucking the final game away at Sunderland 0-3 because we were already on the beach.

What we really need is accountability and sanctions for those in power abusing that power for personal profit. In Scandinavia (Sweden I think) every member of Parliament is subjected to all their accounts and business dealings being public knowledge and accessible by any one at all times. So the temptation to do dodgy deals is very low. In this country public funds are being siphoned off by these crooks to friends and families business dealings with zero repercussions. Just look at the PPE scandal. Billions of taxpayers money stolen, and this Tory government made it illegal for it to be investigated. And then they cry about having to cut funding to public services because of lack of money. Utter scumbags.
