  1. I've seen Joe a couple of times practicing with Gilbert in the club of an afternoon. Seems a nice guy. Hopefully they both make it.
  2. Morgan Whittaker looks a fantastic player, and Plymouth only paid £1m for him. I wonder how much he'd cost a Prem club like us? Lazio have been sniffing round him too. £10-15m?
  3. only took 30-45 mins to come true.
  4. Just read that he's had 2 big ACL injuries. Guess it hasn't stopped him from doing the business this season. I assume he's fully back to what he was pre injuries?
  5. That's way too big. A quick Google of pre-match articles puts them at: Palace 12/1 Villa 5/1 Fulham 2/1 13 x 6 x 3 = 234 So 233/1.
  6. In other news I played Six Hills earlier today. Absolute shit show. Several holes had grass that was a few inches long on the "fairways". Like trying to hack your way round the rough. I struggled to only just break 100. They claim the soft ground means they can't get the mowers out to certain holes yet they're still charging full price for it (we paid £30 each for a society with coffee beforehand). It wasn't that soft IMO, only on a few downhill sections. Don't play it is my advice. And if you do certainly not until later in the summer.
  7. Scheffler just out-grinds everyone into the dirt. Aberg will no doubt succumb at some point.
  8. Was just about to say Bryson's blown it....
  9. Watched the new remake of Road House tonight with Jake Gyllenhaal. It was fairly standard modern faire of "hard man who is fighting criminal organisation run by a smarmy young rich guy all on his own, and has to save people he cares about along the way." The real surprise of the movie was Conor McGregor who was genuinely rather good as a grinning loudmouthed psycho with a screw loose. It really offset Gyllenhaal's quiet introspective psycho with a screw loose perfectly But boy was Gyllenhaal ripped in this. And I mean RIPPED. He was huge. Must have trained his ass off knowing he'd be fighting with McGregor. You could tell he'd been cutting for the shoots though. That telltale stretched looking skin over popping veins and abnormal looking muscles. Certainly compared to McGregor's more natural and smooth looking physique through years of training and fighting. Was alright for what it was though. 6/10.
  10. Tony Harrington. He's abysmal every week. Loves making it about him and panders to the big clubs.
  11. These greens are gonna be like glass tomorrow. Any one under par could win it really.
  12. I watched it. Superb tie break to win it.
  13. They were 50/1 to win the league before today's game kicked off.
  14. Even if you stay down and get points deducted you're not gonna get relegated to League One. Come on now be serious, things aren't quite that bad. You'll still have a decent squad for this division even if you sell some more high earners. Not to mention you might get some players in who want to grasp the chance with both hands.
  15. 3 wins and 3 clean sheets in his last 3 starts. Yeah maybe...
  16. So if you go up the PL nail you with a points deduction next season. If you stay down the EFL nail you with a points deduction next season as you've no doubt failed on the accounts for 23/24 too. I guess option 1 is the least of two evils.
  17. I guess they can claim I was 'gaming' their offer and taking more value than was intended, even though freezing big prices is an obvious way to use it.
  18. I think they probably did ban me Monday. As I said above it was my first actual freeze of the week as early bankers let me down on all my others this week. So I never bothered freezing any that went ahead so as not to waste them.
  19. Just spoke to Skybet chat and yep, been gubbed. Or as they call it a "business decision by the trading team". Tossers. All because I made about £400 profit in 6 weeks.
  20. Lol they won eventually, but I can guess that your face would have been like thunder when they equalised on 45+4 I looked at the pressure graph on SofaScore and it was literally their only attack of that 1st half. Well done tho.
  21. Only the one unfortunately. I seem to have found some scoring form the last few seasons and made a 101 in the off-season last summer. Still my highest break. One more red on the table tonight and I could have beaten that.
  22. 0-0 incoming...... Edit - 1-0 there you go. Cash out should be decent now.
  23. Yeah I agree cash outs are always crap. I really shouldn't have done mine tonight but I've burned a lot of dough this week already trying to get a winner.
  24. I know plenty of people don't like him but I love watching him. He did some speed training recently on YouTube and he was hitting 206mph ball speed with range balls FFS. Just the 376 yard carry on one of them. Thing is they were all straight shots too as he's such a fantastic golfer as well as being able to do that.
