Or Steve Bruce.... 🤮

The only opinion that matters is the guy reffing the game. Which is why I'd rather VAR to be there to tell him to have another look at any big decisions which might be wrong. Especially since he only gets one look at full speed. Give him a chance to correct any of his own errors. If he then decides "nah there's not enough in that to change my decision" then fair enough. At least he's had two looks at it and is sure in his own mind, and isn't being overruled by another ref.

I don't think Beale would be welcome by the fans. He turned us down quoting loyalty to the club and staff, then pissed off to Rangers a couple of weeks later. All the fans thought he was a Judas.

Heathen.

I'm not so worried about that one tbh. If the VAR official realises he's drawn the lines from the wrong position of course he should change it and make sure it's more accurate. In this case you have to assume he was ultimately correct in ruling it out, even if it took a long time to get to the correct decision.

"Clear & Obvious" should be changed to "Reasonable Doubt." it's just far too high a bar as it stands and allows VAR officials to bottle decisions and not put pressure on their colleagues. With a call of reasonable doubt, that way the ref can go and have a look and decide for himself whether he's made the right decision. I'm sure the on field ref would much prefer to make that judgment themselves, rather than hearing in his ear that he's got it wrong and needs to go over and look to confirm and then change the decision.

Craig Dawson for me.

He's been doing Prem games for years...
-
Yes because they are too spineless to ask the ref to have another look.
-
Agreed. But there's a stigma now that going to the monitor equals refs got it wrong. It needs stamping out.

Incredibly soft. Schar already falling over. But jesus wept Hwang just clear the ball.
-
It would be very funny, but I'd prefer they didn't as I know plenty of Derby fans and never let them forget it!
-
Coote saw a different angle then ruled it out apparently. VAR in this country is just a shambles. It's like watching absolute morons trying to work a nuclear reactor.

Man City were fine until Rodri got injured, then they had their bad spell with Haaland having a mini drought. Rodri's back now though and they seem to be getting going again.
-
That's crap. Because you can't actually see down over the cliff at any point. So it's a pointless gimmick.
-
I'd imagine that's because one was deliberate and the other wasn't.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/67235024 Only 5 hundredths of a millimetre too low! I'm amazed the FIA even measure at those tiny discrepancies. I'm not sure even you or the biggest Hamilton haters could think that Mercedes could engineer that precise sort of tiny advantage when it's randomly getting worn down constantly through the race.

Neto is injured. I guess they want another keeper on the bench to cover. Stoke can't complain, they have the money to buy their own keeper but pulled out of a deal for Sarkic from us after agreeing a fee, only to loan Travers.
-
Are the exceptional circumstances that Neto is unbelievably shit?

Original Pirate Material was a superb album. The rest, not so much.

Yes it's mind boggling how much money the fossil fuel industry still get from governments around the world.

If you have solar panels and storage at home and charge the car at home then you are basically fuelling your car from the sun for free. Not that many people do I'll grant you.

You have to be a special kind of a idiot to bet on your own games though, addiction or not.

Should keep those little shits away this weekend! .

Of course they did, they couldn't sell him quick enough. However, it's Newcastle's fault for not doing due diligence.
