  1. I've genuinely never watched it. Don't mind any one involved but doesn't look like something I'd be remotely interested in. Same with Growing Pains with Rhod Gilbert which is back on again.
  2. No doubt. I think switching to much safer chemicals in pesticides and herbicides would go a long way to helping. Especially when you get the runoff into rivers and streams.
  3. Quality Street are No.1 for me and always will be. Roses 2nd. Heroes are just tiny little limitations of your bog standard chocolate bars. Same with Celebrations. Boring! Both of them belong at the bottom. I'll even take a nice tin of good quality biscuits over both of them too.
  4. The rules may be farcical and anti-competitive, but I still want those that break them punished as severely as possible. The likes of the bottom half teams who've had to restrict spending to comply have been severely disadvantaged, and allowing the bigger clubs to disregard the rules would be a smack in the face to those who've followed them.
  5. I'm still firmly of the opinion that the public shouldn't be allowed to buy them. Organised displays only with licenses issued by the local council who can charge for them.

  8. Yeah not for me. In particular You've Got Everything Now is dreadful, undertempo and muddy sounding.
  9. I quite like the slightly raw and echoey production of the debut. Certainly on stuff Reel Around The Fountain, You've Got Everything Now, and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. It's just some of the session tracks on HOH I have issues with.
  10. Amy time you use a new card you have to use the PIN the first time to enable contactless payments. Might be what happened when you added them all as new cards in ApplePay.
  11. In terms of variety and production value then Louder Than Bombs is by far the best for newcomers. Hatful Of Hollow's issue for me is you get live session versions which aren't a patch on the original versions. A few exceptions are the vastly superior This Charming Man and stuff that isn't on other albums like Handsome Devil.

    I watch this guy who does Stealth Camping, which is in and around urban areas where the public might be. He's from Sunderland but he's quite funny and has lots of little silly phrases and sayings. Very working class bloke but quite entertaining, especially when he has his little friend Mick out with him.
  13. They do, they're just not leaned on as heavily nowadays as Hobbs the Sporting Director oversees scouting nowadays, plus Mendes costs a lot in agents fees to use regularly.
  14. There wouldn't have been a red flag if Colapinto hadn't crashed. That's why most of them pitted, which was the right call at the time. They could have waited a few more laps to see the rain ease off a bit more, but they knew that the undercut on fresh Inters compared to heavily worn Inters was even greater whilst the rain was heaviest. If there hadn't been a crash, Verstappen would have been very quickly caught and passed by those on fresh tyres behind him. He got lucky with the win. But it was a very good drive by him nonetheless.

  16. As an aside, the addition of Bernie Collins has been the best thing Sky has done for their F1 coverage in years. Proper insight into the decision making processes for strategy, tyres/stops, and how the regulations work, from someone who's actually done the job. She's brilliant.

  18. That ends Llando's championship effort barring a couple of DNFs for Max. Fair play to Max he passed plenty of cars early on and they made the right call to stay out before the red flag.

  20. I've watched a couple of those. Not all the way through as the maths can often go over my head a bit. His stuff on relativity is really interesting though.
  21. That's been us all season unfortunately. Defensively terrible, especially on set-pieces but at least we score goals which is giving us a slim chance of getting out of it. O'Neil is still trying to compromise between a back 3 and a back 4. We switched to the latter in the second half today after going behind, the same as he did at Brighton last week. No idea how to fix it is my guess. He's subtly trying to blame signings not having enough experience, but the fundamental organisation just isn't there. He'll definitely be sacked before the international break if we don't beat Southampton. They'd have to act then to give any new guy a chance to get us out of it. Makes no sense to try and get someone in before that as they'd have no time to prepare for that game. Potter might be interested if we're lucky but I can't see him wanting to work under our CEO and Sporting director who have control over all the financial and signings.
  22. I love this sort of stuff. I recommend checking out Neil DeGrasse Tyson and his Startalk podcast. Mainly his Cosmic Queries episodes, as he has science guests on and answers all sorts of these sorts of questions and theories from the public, but in a really easy and understandable way. The presenter is always a comedian that acts as the layman in the conversation which helps with understanding it too. NdGT is a really good science communicator.
